The staff was nice, room was clean. The bedsheets had holes 😄. Kitchen had all the necessary things which was great (kettle, fry pan, pot, toaster, plates, forks spoons, knives cups and glasses). Walk to the beach is pretty quick and the pools are nice and heated. Overall great hotel but could use a little renovation 1. in the electronic devices (our tv was old and the remote worked as it wished). 2. Bedsheets. 3. The parking is super expensive and the hotel fee is also a little too much!

The room was very nice. Clean and well decorated. Loved having a kitchen. The staff was friendly and the view was amazing. I had a view out to the west over the harbor so I had beautiful sunsets every night. It's in a great location.

The staffs are unfriendly, it seems like they are forbidden to even smile. Room is clean though we can hear all the noise from the street. We are not given a choice to upgrade our room. It feels like we are given the worse room because I am brown skinned.

Very clean room, staff very friendly, enjoyed the pool, before it got too crowded. Wish people with beach inflatables and chairs knew about the bathers elevator. First time in Hawaii, so really enjoyed the Friday evening entertainment.

The room was very outdated, carpet and couch were stained, and it needs a lot of work. With friends and saw 2 other rooms which were very nice. All booked through Hotels.com Not sure how the Hotel assigns the room - would not stay here again .

Check-in was warm and very inviting - thank you Maria. We received an upgrade to our room which was a wonderful surprise. The room was clean, a full length mirror and a larger closet would have been preferred but was just fine for us. Unfortunately, I had a necklace stolen from the bedside drawer (I failed to put in the safe- the only time I have ever forgotten in all my travels around the world) and nothing was done as it is not the hotel's responsibility. This was very disappointing. The staff were okay for the most part; however, being in hospitality in the past I would have expected more in the way of a service friendly and supportive nature for such a beautiful property with a high resort fee. The fellow that ran the Menehune Grill is awesome! Kudos to him! It is a shame as the location is absolutely perfect. I would love to stay there again; but very hesitant in doing so however, I would be more careful with my belongings.
