The “boutique” nature of the hotel, the spa is wonderful, restaurant is outstanding and the staff are most helpful.
Fantastic staff very fast check in and out reception always adequately staffed. Great rooms although a bit small everything you need. The location is fabulous
Versatility of the room was great with optional doors to close off the bedroom and space of the living area was fantastic
I chose the Mercure Welcome as wanted to be right in the heart of Melbourne, and this was absolutely perfect for that. The hotel is a little tired, and while the room was extremely compact (even with an upgrade), it was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also surprisingly quiet inside. ...
Great location, particularly to access Southbank & the Playhouse theatre.
Didn’t like that the pool didn’t open until 8am on Sunday when I like to be up at 6am for a swim
