"Great location, excellent price and facilities"
We couldn't believe how lovely the room was considering we had deliberately chosen it for the budget price! We only stayed for a night, but could easily stay for longer with the kitchen facilities and comfortable furniture. Great location for sightseeing.

"Convenient location"
The hotel was very convenient to everything - cafes, restaurants, shops, trams, Flinders St Station. The beds were extremely comfortable with very good quality sheets, pillows and towels. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Everything we wanted to see was easily accessible by walking or trams. Trams were frequent and it was easy to find our way around. I would definitely stay at Punthill again.

"Apartments in a great location"
What I loved most about my stay at the Flinders House apartments was the locatiom on Flinders Lane. You are only a few minute's walk from Fed Square, Flinders St Station and Degraves Street. It was very easy to walk to most places within the CBD from this location. The room itself has everything you need in terms of kitchen and laundry (I loved having an iron!). The only negative I have is that the room I was in was not the best for people who are light sleepers. A lot of light came through the closed blinds, and there is a fair bit of noise both within the building and outside on the street that you can hear during the night/early morning.

"Perfect location"
The location is perfect and so easily accessible! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful which is always lovely when staying away from home. I think the only thing to be improved upon would be an update to the paint and bathrooms, the room felt a bit tired, though clean, didn't feel immaculate.

"Cheap and well located in area I needed to be in"
It really was just somewhere to sleep and it served that purpose. Not somewhere to spend time in. No bedside table - no bedside lamp and nowhere to rest your phone, book or cup of tea. No wardrobe for hanging clothes. No view from window - block out paint but perhaps because room view would have been an airlock.

Great place and location, but the checkin is two tram rides away! Needs at least a luggage locker so we don't have to lug everything out past Queensberry st, but preferably a 21st Century e-checkin at the stay location. Otherwise, it's great!
