The hotel is in a sketchy part of Phoenix (just ask the local residents) and the hotel itself is in need of multiple and amenities. My room did not have a closet, bathroom counter, no where to hang your clothes, etc. I would advise not staying at this hotel if you are with family especially small children.

When I got in the room I killed some cockroaches. Then when I went to go to bed there was cigarette burns and dried semen on all of bedding. Then I went to the front desk and they gave me some more bedding that also had a bunch of cigarette burns in them. The floor and the top of the toilet seat had burns as well. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my 50 years of life. I thought I I might just get a STD from staying there I was up and out of there at 6:00am. Not to mention the homeless people and the signs telling me that I can't carry my gun in the place that well warrants carrying one. The conditions where atrocious and should be shut down for just the unsanitary conditions

The overall cleanliness and safety for myself was not good at all. There were two cops there just standing in the back with the hotel lobby attendant. The room was super dirty and it probably relates to the life of the property and the are of town it is in. I will never stay at a Red Roof In again and will share my experience with others who stay in that area also
