After a grueling 30-minute wait to start the check-in process, it took over an hour just to receive my room. The keys provided initially didn’t work, and it took 15 minutes for someone to be sent to help, followed by another 15 minutes as they attempted to resolve the issue. I was then instructed to return to the front desk for a new set of keys. Even after receiving the new keys, I returned with my children to the same room only to face the same problem. When we went back upstairs with our suitcases, the keys failed again. Despite making two additional trips to the front desk, no employee offered even the slightest effort to assist us with our heavy luggage. They were well aware that we had an important dinner to attend—the main reason for our trip—but our plight seemed to be of no concern to them. As a result, my children and I missed the dinner entirely. The following day, we tried to enjoy the hotel’s pool. After checking out two different pool areas, we had no choice but to return to our room because there were no chairs available. It’s clear that the hotel’s seating capacity is far below what is required for its guests. I formally lodged a complaint, only to receive a refund for the parking fee as a so-called resolution. With countless other options available in Orlando, I strongly advise anyone considering a stay at Sheraton Vistana Village to look elsewhere.

The Sheraton resorts are always my favorite to stay at. The check in process was smooth, upon walking in the room it was very moist, and smelt like mold. We had a balcony and a bathtub with jets so I didn’t really complain. We turned the tv on and it was definitely broken from whoever stayed last, so maintenance came and replaced it with no problem. We also saw a dead bed bug on one of our pillows which was very sketchy. I would rate this stay 8/10.

We were so surprised by our stay! We normally stay at Gaylord Palms Orlando, so my expectations were high. The room was SPACIOUS! We had a two-bedroom condo with a balcony. It was very well maintained and refreshingly clean.

Surprises for everyone all around

Our stay was amazing. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable like sleeping on clouds. We enjoyed the quietness of eating breakfast on the balcony in the mornings and just enjoying a hot cup of coffee on some days. Loved the fact that we were able to cook breakfast everyday. Walked the grounds that were also well kept. Staff were very courteous on the grounds. Pools were excellent, loved the quiet pool, and the hot tub was relaxing. The big pool by the breeze bar and grille was a blast. Played monkey in the middle in the pool with the grandchildren and pool volleyball too. Also, played ping pong with my hubby.
