The lady at the front desk was nice. I loved the amenities and design of the room. The bathroom door was a sliding door, but it was pressed into the ground so much that it was hard to open and close. The worst part was the AC that made a loud squeaking noise and kept me up. I called the front desk and they said there were no other rooms, which I highly doubt, and that maintenance would not be there for two hours. Parking is $26/night which is ridiculous for just a regular open self parking lot.

The room was great but we called the front desk several times and received no answer. We ended up leaving our room and going downstairs for things that could have been answered easily over the phone. Each time someone was at the front desk and not on the phone when we arrived. The parking was not as clear as it should be and QR codes for services were no longer in working. It was a nice room and clean, but there are still some things that need to be worked on.

The location of Aloft Lake Buena Vista is convenient, especially if you’re visiting the theme parks, and the staff was generally polite. However, the property itself needs noticeable upgrades. The room felt dated, the air conditioning was old and not very effective, and the bathroom clearly needs maintenance. Breakfast options were very limited and did not meet expectations for the brand. With some renovations and better food choices, this hotel could be much improved.
