I hate that the housekeeping always comes in your room at 8am when checkout is 10. I am either nakedcin the shower or in naked in bed and they just come in my room and start talking to me. I have been coming here multiple times for a decade and the last 3 vusits have mr looking elseshere.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The resort has everything you need, you never have to leave! We did have an issue with hot water and the manager took care of us right away. My son really enjoyed the waterpark stayed until it closed. We will stay here again.

Very few food options, nothing walkable nearby. The hotel is shown to be 1/2 mile from the Convention Center, but in reality, that distance is not true because to get there requires walking around the freeway. Also long waits to register or get in-person service. Long lines and too few people attending to customers. Staff people were great.

The laundry room on the third floor is not clean. Unit 2536C has a connecting door to the lower level. Noise control was very poor. At 12:26 AM, the tenant in the lower-level unit was doing laundry, and the continuous loud dryer noise persisted for over an hour, disrupting my sleep.

Our visit at Westgate lake was great. Our room was beautiful and the pool was amazing. The only thing we did not like was the service at Drafts sports bar. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly but it took almost 20 minutes to even get a hello when we sat at the bar. Being a server and bartender myself I understand that it gets busy, but a quick "hello I'll be with you as soon as I can" goes a long way. Also the hour rule of only a drink per hour really isn't so cool for people on vacation who are NOT DRIVING OR SHOWING SIGNS OF BEING "OVER SERVED". When we pay over $2 grand for the week to stay at the resort, and we can't order more than a drink per hour is ridiculous. This is why people go on vacation, to unwind and not have to worry about things. Other than that our stay was great! We were close to universal and near a lot of fun things to do. Also the water park located in the resort is great if you have kids.

Property is dated and needs refurbishing . No reataurant for breakfasts. No ice machines. No room service for stays less than 7 days. Staff was ill informed on various topics.
