Great value hotel for visiting Universal

Great little hotel for a good night's rest. Old school roadside hotel that has been refurbished and maintained well. Rooms are updated and clean, beds are comfortable. Excellent air conditioning kept us cool after a long hot day. Bed linens should be updated, but other than that all was just fine. Every close to Universal and tons of restaurants nearby.

Arrived at this property 9:30pm. Requested a late checkout however that is not an accommodation I’m guessing because of the area. It’s a tourist area so it’s really not beneficial to Floridans traveling just to get away. Staff were ok. Seems to be an established for foreigners or Spanish. The room was ok for the price only stayed one night. Then to have to pay $12 for complimentary breakfast per person I don’t agree with. Was put on the first floor and of course staying on international drive I should have know it would be loud up until 2pm.

This was a nice simple hotel. A few things I didn’t like. You have to request for housekeeping we didn’t and I assume if you did you have to pay so I didn’t like that but we only stayed there 3 nights so I guess it’s no big deal also no complementary breakfasts. Breakfast was available and affordable but for what I payed for the hotel I think it should have been complementary. Other than that friendly staff decent WiFi nice pool definitely ok if you’re doing a little weekend trip wouldn’t necessarily recommend if you’re doing a full on vacation or longer trip.

“Clean and perfectly located!” This hotel was a great choice—super clean and very well maintained, which I really appreciate. It’s also in a very central location, making it easy to get around and explore. The combination of cleanliness and convenience made my stay really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it!

Great, Clean Place for the Price.

Wonderful place for the price. Great location if youre going to Universal Studios/IOA. Front desk was very nice. Our room was very clean. Walked around barefooted and didnt feel any dirt on the vinyl floors. The lamps and light fixtures were covered in rust though. That would be my only complaint. There is also a great Mexican place within walking distance.

The room was dirty and there was blood smeared on the bathroom door. They put us in a room that should not have been a room because it was right next to the pool, ice machine and elevator. Staff were talking outside the room at 6 am and every time someone got ice out of the machine the violent noise woke me up. When I asked for a different room they gave me an attitude as if asking for a room I could sleep in was a crazy request. I ended up having to leave a day early and would never recommend that any one stay here.

Everything was fine. No frills here. No toiletries, one blanket for 2 beds…ac blows directly on first bed. The worst is it’s noisy, even off the highway in back. The price is great, but don’t expect a good night’s rest.

Terrible place never staying here again

It was terrible the front desk people are rude and condescending if they hear you speak any other language than English. The room was also terrible cockroaches in the room and halls. The beds sheets were clearly not changed at all with multiple stains all over and one even had what appears to be a poo stain. The bathroom was also disgusting mold stains and the tub it self was stained all over as well

I love that there is no carpet! Bed was comfortable. Basic hotel room with everything you need. Clean. Friendly staff. Good rates. Close to a fun Mexican restaurant and a lot of other activities. Definitely ask for a room higher than the 1st level if you care about noise. I was across from the ice machine people kept waking me up all night! So just say no to room 113!

The property itself is not bad and the staff is friendly too. However, why nobody in the review mentioned how terribly noisy that place is? It's literally next to a major road, and the noise level is absolutely unbearable! I slept less than 2 hours in the first night of stay and felt like I was sleeping right on the highway -- I'm not a light sleeper but that noise level is way beyond what I can stand for. Will never stay in this hotel again!
