The hotel is nicely decorated. The room is bigger than i thought. But we were very disappointed with the transportation (shuttle). The reason my friend and I chose this hotel was the free shuttle from MCO airport to the hotel. The site told us we should let them know before we travelled when we would arrive. When we tried to do that we had hard time to talk to anyone. When we finally managed to talk to someone, she told us to call when we arrived at MCO. When we arrived at MCO on June 20 2025, we called the hotel and had hard time to have someone pick up the phone. We made many calls b4 someone picked up the phone and told us someone would be on the way. We waited for an hour or so. We tried to call the hotel many times but no answer. So we decided to go by taxi, since it was getting late and we both were very tired for the long day. We found out at the hotel that we were not the only ones that had to go by a taxi to the hotel because the shuttle didn't come as it should. We also found out the shuttle that would pick us had another hotel's name. Something that the woman on the phone didn’t tell my friend when we called. When we told the front desk lady about what happened, she was apologetic and told us she would reimburse the US$ 20 for the taxi we had to pay. I checked both of the credit cards I often use today (June 27), and I don’t see the refund yet.

Personally, I will never ever stay at a Laquinta Inn. I am a chronic reviewer so I read reviews for everything. I’ve learned that what I would consider “5” Stars is not the average persons “5” Stars. This place is so cheesy. I’m thinking was getting a really good deal. I was mortified. I checked out 4 hours early just to wait at the airport. The first room we were given, the door lock was broken. The second room we had, the air conditioner hummed so loud we had to move to a third room. Also, the bathtub faucet ran all night. Not dripped…running. The third room door lock catch was missing a screw. The bathroom counter had ants. The wall had a hole. The closet had a splatter of blood. The mattress was dated and the pillow top pad was the only thing that stopped my knee from sinking into the mattress springs. Chile a time. The ice machines work only on floors 1 & 5. I noticed one of the room attendants walking down the hall. She had to be at least 83. I understand now why the hair and bugs could have been missed in my room. The staff were very kind and friendly. The lobby is decent minus the towels on the floor in front of the ice machine or the paper towel dispenser stuffed to capacity. The breakfast was subpar. At least they had meat and a waffle maker. I said maker because the other one need to be replaced. The spray oil did not stop everyone using that one waffle from sticking on both sides. If I could’ve checked out, I would have.

Hotel did not offer airport shuttle from midnight until 5 am. My flight was delayed and because of this had to pay a taxi for a ride when the main reason we booked this hotel was because of the shuttle service.

The hotel didn’t look clean. The bathroom door in my room didn’t shut and was very dirty. There were not enough towels and wash cloths for all 3 of us. The tub in the room didn’t have a stopper. The pool was dirty and there were no pool towels. The toilet was very dirty or stained under the rim. The phone in the room didn’t work so I had to go downstairs to the desk to get talk to someone. My fear was that I might get bed bugs but thankfully I didn’t. The best part was the breakfast in the morning was great. And the staff did try to take care of things the best they could. But I’ll never stay there again.
