We love bringing our grandkids to your resort. They always have a blast. The only improvement I can suggest is more hot water. That seemed to be an issue in the morning when we wanted to take showers.

Room was smelly and fire alarm kept going off at 10pm when we were all asleep. We were woken up and scared ran out to make sure we were safe and there was no one anywhere. I tried contacting the front desk from the room phone but was unsuccessful as it was dead. After about 3 attempts, from my cellphone, front desk finally answered and had no idea a fire alarm was even triggered and never sent anyone to check it. After it went off the second time and completely freaking my entire family out of sleep, I called again and insisted that someone comes and checks it out. They sent an engineer that didn’t speak a work of English so could not answer any of my questions. He left and came back with a battery for the smoke detector. Changed it and said it’s fine. At this point I called again and demanded an explanation as to why it was triggered in the first place and the front desk told me that I must have been cooking something to set it off. So I said it would be impossible as we were all asleep and there was no cooking stove or any other cook g devices in the room. So they said sometimes a hot shower steam will set it off but again I explained that we were all sound asleep when it happened. They told me there is nothing to worry about to just go back to sleep. I did not feel safe and my children were panicked and wanted to go to another room or building. We went to the front desk and I was told that if we weren’t happy we like leave and go somewhere else. So we did.

This is my second time staying at the Holiday Inn resort Orlando suites. I actually love this resort because there is so much to do for the entire family. It is also minutes away from so many other fun activities and restaurants. We were also really close to Universal Studios.

The staff was nice but nothing at the resort was working so they should have reduced or canceled the resort fee. All the water slides online were gone except 3 that they closed at 6pm when check in is at 4. Thats ridiculous. My kids were very disappointed from the pictures I showed them online. Looked nothing like the online pictures. Most of the restaurants were closed also. Surf rider was broken. Very dosappointed & will be writing to return my resort fee.

There was a ton of construction half the pool was not available. 2 days we were there there were no pool towels available. The deck chairs were moldy. The marketplace was half empty, there was bo selection. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for the food that was available. On check in the lobby was impossible to find and you had to drive through a haze of marijuana smoke to get to it. The bed sheets were too small for the mattresses we had to re make the bed after every use. The coffee maker cord was not even long enough to be made use. When you book it says there is a fee on check in and when you do check in it is double what the website told you.

Pedi un cambio de habitacion y me lo negaron les digo teniamos un grupo de personas a un lda y estaban gritando mucho y musica a todo volumen y no se podia dormir pedi q me cambiaran ya q viaje con un nino de 5 anos y dos adolesentes mi mama de 72 anos y no pudimos dormirn nada despues a las 2:36 segui la fiesta y a las 4 am discutian en fin el hotel estaba vacio no me quisieron cambiar de cuarto no voy mas ahy

Lock was faulty. The room keys didn’t work and we had to wait in the corridor for 10 mins, until a technician let us in which seemed like a long time after a long Disney day, then he had to keep the door open and fix the lock. The shower curtain was torn n taken down but the maintenance staff just left it on the couch. Long walk from check in to the room.

Tried going to breakfast, but did not open until 7. Which is hard to do when going to the parks, would be nice if it opened earlier. AC in our room was not working. Lots of construction the whole week. Splash pad and pool area was nice. Convenient location to Disney parks and Disney springs.
