Terrible Customer Service and Hotel

I booked a room with a jetted tub weeks in advance and paid the rate for a room with one. When I checked-in nothing was mentioned about my room not having the tub, and that they gave me a jr suite instead. When I called the front desk to ask what the mix up was the intern at the front desk told me that they had booked all those rooms, and this is what I would be given. He offered no resolution, but to take it up with hotels.com. Definitely not staying at this place again where the staff thinks you are unintelligent when they are the lazy ones just collecting a pay check.

I had carefully planned a special night for my wife at the Hilton DoubleTree in Miami, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I paid in advance and received confirmation for a suite with a whirlpool and balcony on the top (12th) floor, yet upon arrival, I was given a standard room on the sixth floor instead. When I raised the issue, the hotel blamed Expedia instead of taking responsibility, and to make matters worse, they didn’t even offer an apology for the mistake. This was meant to be a memorable night, and their failure to honor my reservation completely ruined the experience. I chose not to disclose further details about the special occasion because, given the hotel’s handling of the situation, I feared it would only make things worse. I am beyond disappointed with the lack of professionalism and accountability.

It's not the same. Rooms not ready, staff put u on a list and call when room ready, never received the call.. microwave broken had to throw away cold food brought when waiting for room to be cleaned.. water pressure in foom was a water fountain.. nowhere to park, valet $50 a day or play $10 every time you leave the parking lot 🤔.. there is no hotel parking.. use to park in lot infront of hotel.. but couldn't take a shower was horrible.. had to jog in the shower 🚿 to get wet.. horrible time..

The shuttle from the airport was great and very helpful since I got in late. The concierge was awesome and super helpful.

We arrived at the hotel early after a cruise. We asked about early checkin and leaving our bags to walk to a laundry mat. The two ladies at the desk for the morning shift were terribly rude and not accomodating. Several people were waiting in the lobby with us. There was a long list of folks to checkin. Those women even told a few people maybe 4:30. The afternoon team came in and started releasing rooms at 3:30. Maybe the morning staff should have helped cleaned rooms as they were doing nothing else from 10am on.

I can tell the staff is trying their best but this hotel is awful. My room had electrical plugs not working and others popped out of the wall ( incredibly unsafe to use). Room had a bunch of crumbs on the floor when I walked in indicating it has not been vacuumed. The drawers had something spelled all over them and inside of them and it was sticky. My room had a door separating it from the other room and it’s located by my bed, the other room’s TV was placed ( I think) by that same wall and door so when the guy next to me came at 3:00 am and turned his TV on it was so loud I could not sleep. I called the front desk and they said they’ll send a security to check it out and nothing, i called 25 mins later and they said they have not heard from the security and when they do they’ll let me know. This guy never turned his tv off. The food I had at the bar area was not good at all. I thought I can trust the quality of DoubleTree and Hilton but apparently that changed.

The place is conveniently located. The lobby bar was good. Food was good. Staff was super friendly, but the building itself seems stuck in time. Exactly as I've seen it 10 years ago. I did understand renovations are on the way .

Had an over night due to a cancelation and the airline provided accommodation. This was a good hotel definitely something I would choose if I was looking for something good and close to the airport.

It was a comfortable stay. Appreciated the restaurant onsite but did not like the restaurant didn't have none pork breakfast sandwich options.
