The smoke alarm went off for no reason. It was wired to the mains. We rang but they would not come. We were told to change the battery ourselves. Where do you go to get a battery at night? It stopped for a while. The alarm went off again at 3 am. Just as well we brought some ear plugs. Not too pleasant a stay.

Stay away!

What a frustrating experience. When we checked in, the floors were truly filthy. After a 8 hour flight we had to clean the floors with towels! The shower door is crooked and leaks because it doesn’t shut. The shower head holder is loose. One dining table leg is too short so they “fixed” the problem by putting a wad of paper under the leg. The sofa bed sheet was dirty on day 1. We had to wash it! We were given a duvet with a blood stain on it (which they replaced the next day). There was also an old food encrusted eyeshade stuck in the sofa bed...gross! In the bedroom there is a hole in the wall covered by a piece of paper! For the past three nights I have been awakened by some sort of chirping alarm (possibly water pressure alarm?). Tonight the people from upstairs are banging about at 2 am and the hallway on ground level is filled with some sort of cooking smell and noise coming from G01. Some of the dishes were dirty and a couple of them chipped. The irony of this is that on the door they have a list of charges should we break anything. Moreover, they charged me $75 for a cleaning fee. I do not usually write such reviews but our trip here has been really impacted by all this. The owners should be ashamed of this. Note the pics I took of the place attached.

Our room had a hole in the wall from the last guests- they apologised for it and had a piece of paper taped over the hole. Room was clean although the floor needed a good sweep when we arrived. Great for a few nights for a work trip.

Conveniently located modern self-contained unit

Located on a road with a couple of other 5-, 6-storey apartment blocks are coming up, you've got to currently bear with the construction noise and traffic. Look past this we found ourselves enjoying the privacy and centrality of the location.

Neat and Tidy

Great little apartment block. Room was very clean, there was secure parking on site. Had everything it said on the ad. The only things at this point were, the pillows were very flat and you only got 1 each, no spares, so I work up with a sore neck. Secondly, there is new apartments are going up over the road, so the road is a bit of a construction zone. Worth a look.

Getting to the hotel was easy and excellent instructions were sent through message for after hours checkin. Position was convenient to the Box Hill hospital and tram stops.

Great location, new apartment.

Good location, quiet end of street. Only downsides were (very) slow wifi, loud whirring noise coming from the aircon unit upstairs, bedsheets 'hotel' style (2 sheets covering doona, i.e., not an actual doona cover) which meant the bed was hard to make etc. Also be sure to bring your own dishwasher powder and washing machine (front-loader) powder as these weren't provided despite the appliances being available. Check-in confusing, no cleaning fee charged (as stated on Hotels.com) but instead a $200 deposit which wasn't mentioned during booking. Otherwise great stay, lovely new apartment, small, suitable for a couple.

it was comfortable but the floor was not too clean. there was only one heating provided in the living area but not in the bedrooms, coming from the tropics we found some nights rather cold. there was washing machine but no detergent, not sure if we were supposed to have brought our own.
