Great location, friendly staff. Stayed in original 47 room Thursday - Sunday nights and was a little noisy Friday and Saturday but was to be expected with all of the clubs and bars nearby. Area very safe at all hours. Breakfast at Seigels was delicious and HUGE! Thanks for a great stay El Cortez!

We got the room for a very good price. I have to say that every staff member we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. The service gets an A+. The room was dated but it was clean and certainly adequate. Having an in-room fridge is a nice touch and wound up saving us some money. The downside was the noise coming from the neighboring nightclub. It started BLASTING music at 1 PM and it went until 4 AM or later. They had basically no customers so I guess the club just likes annoying people. If you stay here, make sure you get a room that faces toward the Fremont St experience as opposed to away from it, because it is surpisingly WAY louder due to this club…however, since it had no patrons, it’ll hopefully go out of business soon.

Website says hotel has airport transportation. This is extremely misleading. They only have transportation between the hours of 7 am and 2 pm. Lobby is beautiful and misleading... rooms are very ghetto.

We had a great time at the ElCortez. Rooms were clean upon checking in. Staff we encountered was all friendly and helpful. Called housekeeping once as our room didnt get services for a couple of days. Which was fine as my sleep schedule was messed up. But they were prompt in bringing necessary supplies. Only complaint is we were in a Pavilion room. I was not aware they were an outdoor access room and it was extremely loud every night til around 0230am. I booked rhis hoel thinking it would be quieter off the Freemont street, but it was not in these rooms. We had family in the tower rooms and they didnt have the noise problem. So if you are l9oking for a quieter night book there!
