Great location, friendly staff. Stayed in original 47 room Thursday - Sunday nights and was a little noisy Friday and Saturday but was to be expected with all of the clubs and bars nearby. Area very safe at all hours. Breakfast at Seigels was delicious and HUGE! Thanks for a great stay El Cortez!

The room was very clean , comfortable and quiet. I really like the entire "Cabana" theme. It really made me feel like I was at a tropical location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. When I needed to find a specific ATM, they were more than helpful in pointing me to the right location.

I stayed in a Cabana suite and there was music blasting somewhere in the area which went until the wee hours of the morning so it was hard to get sleep. The upstairs unit leaked through a light fixture into my bathroom and I had to ask housekeeping to mop it for me (which was done promptly). Everything was clean and tidy though. There’s a fridge inside too.

I didn’t like that the sheets and the pillows smelled like it hasn’t been changed, it smelled dirty. I don’t like that my credit card was charged twice and my boyfriends card was charged as well for the same amount and when I called the hotel to ask about it, I was transferred and I was placed on hold for over an hr and I still didn’t get helped because I hung up.
