Stayed for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. Retro style hotel with recent refurbishment in the heart of Darwin CBD. Liked the nautical theme of the pool. Very secure. You are in a two-storey building amongst the tall hotels around, but just one-block back from the Esplanade park where there are great views over the harbour. Friendly and helpful staff - thank you!

The property was exactly as described on the website. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is double storey so if you struggle to get a heavy bag up two flights of steps it would be advisable to ask for a ground floor room when booking.

Aircon and pool were brilliant. Once I worked out how to work the tv, so was that. Easy access in and out. Was able to park each night with no issues. Things that might need to be looked into: kitchen blind in my room did not work - cord not attached?, could not use credit card to access the vending machine on 3 seperate occasions.
