Permit #DSTR0821P This home LX20 is located in a private lake front community. Please be respectful of the locals that call this specials place home. This home is warm and inviting with some old Tahoe charm. There are many stairs in this home. Please keep this in mind. It is a tall home with amazing views. A creek runs along side the home in the spring and early summer you will hear it as you walk up to the home. This creek flows down to the private beach that is directly in front of this home. It is a sandy beach with a little swimming cove perfect for kids of all ages. Right next to it is a private HOA beach for the locals. We have kayaks at the property for you to use at your own risk. The paddling along these shores is amazing.

Inside LX20 there is something for everyone one. We have a cozy kitchen with high callings and a large window that looks out into the trees. There is a new electric cook top. The kitchen has just about everything you will need to cook a nice meal for the family. On the lower deck we have BBQ for grilling out after a day of fun on the lake. After some grilling come inside and take a soak in the large tiled hot tub where you can watch the sunset. There is also a game room with bar for hanging out with friends. Play some pool while your friend pretends to be a bartender. So many good times to be had here.

5 bedrooms are located on the top floor. There is one bedroom at entrance level for guests that might not want to walk up stairs. The primary bedroom has the best view to wake up to or fall asleep to. Before bed go out on the deck and watch the stare before, you might get lucky and see a shooting star. The Tahoe sky is amazing. In the primary bedrooms there is a bathroom with a large soaking tub and sperate shower. The other bedrooms are located down the hall from the master bedroom. 2 of the other bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The other 2 share a bathroom. See the floor plan in the photo gallery.

This home has radiant heat that works great, it has well water and very limited parking. 1 car in the garage 2 in the driveway That is all. No AC we can bring portable units but with this home being on the lake you get that cool lake air at night. It is surrounded by tall trees as well that keep is shaded all day. It really does not need AC. Tahoe never gets that hot and at night the temperatures drop down 20 degrees. It really is a specials place. This home is the perfect Summer get away.

One of a kind
This is a one-of-a-kind property. The views are spectacular, everyone was very comfortable as there is a lot of space, and it feels very private. The drive to South Lake Tahoe where all the stores and restaurants are is short and pretty. Last second there was an issue with some amenities that was out of the owner's control but they handled it promptly and professionally. I would definitely recommend the house and would come back for an another family trip.

We enjoyed the amenities, but it could have been cleaner. It needed more trash bags, some light bulbs werent working. Blankets were tossed in closet and we did not know if they were clean or not. Some sheets looked like they weren't clean.

Location is amazing!!! The views are spectacular from the cabin overlooking the lake. However we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin and how very outdated it was overall. It wouldn’t take much to clean out drawers & update the decor. Once we settled in, we had a lot of fun here. Julio was incredibly helpful answering any questions we had & very quickly responded.

Great lakefront vacation home; great experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation home. The location is beautiful with four levels having a great view of the lake. Beach is perfect for family with young kids. Kayaks were used every day for hours going up and down the shore. The hot tub was perfect after a swim in the lake. We used the grill every night. Beautiful sunsets. Only minor issues; broken stovetop, refrigerator that needs replacement. A few essential kitchen items missing or broken; can opener, cheese grater, hot pads. We would definitely come back you will not be disappointed.

Little piece of heaven
The best part... waking up & going to sleep with the view from this property!!! The second best part, accessibility to the home's kayaks all day every day! Getting on the water & exploring was so peaceful! They've done some upgrades to the property but it could use some more! (bring flip flops bc there is carpet in a couple of the bathrooms!!) It was very clean so that made it easier to embrace some of the old & odd designs. Five stair cases (counting the steps to the beach) be prepared. The master bedroom has the best view in the place!! Overall, it was comfortable, clean, and the location was incredible! We really enjoyed the large deck. Oh, there is a creek on the property... leave your windows open especially at night!! Julio, the house manager, was so kind & accommodating. I really appreciated his immediate responses and willingness to go beyond to help us! And if you are in need a Tahoe realtor, use Ken Bednar, he helped me find this property! Super nice & very knowledgeable of the area.

Amazing location, needs updating
Absolutely amazing location with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, a small sandy beach, and plenty of room for our crew of 8 adults and 4 children. Easy drive to Zephyr Cove and South Lake Tahoe for restaurants and activities. Most of the beds were comfortable (exception being top twin of trundle bed), mostly new sheets and towels. However, the house definitely has not been updated recently. Particularly, the stove and oven are very old. The oven functioned fine, but the stove only had 2 functional burners. The great bar area was useless to us because the mini-fridge was broken. The master shower leaked into the dining room. We did notify property manager of the fridge and shower issue the morning after check-in and were told it couldn't be fixed during our time there. There were enough little annoyances with the property that we will probably look for a more updated place next time.

Great view, not so great everything else.
The house is in a beautiful location. It is dated, and there are a lot of bugs. My sister-in-law found ants in her bed in the master bedroom, and my nephew was covered in ant bites. The ceiling in the living room leaks if you shower in the master bedroom, the showers all have issues with water being too hot or spurting cold out of nowhere. The hot tub has an overflow problem; the pinball machine is broken, the bedroom with the laundry room has a smell every time you flush the toilet, which needs to be reseated, so it doesn't wobble, the bedroom smells like sewer. My 13-year-old nephew found a box of marijuana in the pantry. The fridge does not close properly or light in it. The supplies were not stocked. There were not enough paper towels or garbage bags. The staff was responsive and kind.

Beautiful lake front home
Lake Tahoe was very warm during our stay and there is limited air conditioners in two rooms and only one fan. Even with doors and windows open the house didn't cool down until 2am each day. Room with pool table was dirty - floors, sink etc.

Great place for vocation!
This place has great lake front location, close to everything. We greatly appreciate the review form the person who stayed there before us. Everything issue he raised in his review, we were able to contact the property manager to have them resolved before we came. The property manager, Julios, is great. Please make sure you talk to him before you arrive. He will take care of any issue you may encounter. One advice: please drive a SUV or minivan to this property, as the drive way is not very friendly to sedan or any car that has a lower clearance.
