I did not like that the rooms were all adjoining rooms, it felt very unsafe when I was put in a room next to a full room with just a door to separate our rooms. The halls were very loud and the lighting was dim. The linens were of basic quality. I did not sleep well as I felt unsafe in this environment.

Worst Western

We had to be moved twice due to bathroom issues. Then they tried to claim the second was shower condensation when it was raining through our bathroom ceiling. We left and found a downtown hotel closer to Mayo.

Staff was great and first two nights good. Third night there was several parties going on and notified staff of loud music at 11 pm and had to leave property at midnight for several hours because could not sleep and started to feel unsafe. Aware that events are held there and may be loud at times. I will think twice before booking again if sleep is most important.

The stay was meh. If you don't have young children, find another hotel. The bathroom was partially updated. Under the sink area i was half painted and the wallpaper peeled off, had a yucky feel. No windows would open & the room was stale and smelled of the last guests.

My last stay was very wonderful! This stay was not so pleasant. I bring my family here so my son could play in the pool and enjoy his time here after having to ride a long ride from Wisconsin so his daddy can fight cancer. The pools was shut down so he could not play. The room seemed clean. I layed him down and thought all was well. As I pulled the comforter back low and behold my 21 month old was laying in sand! I only noticed after I layed down and felt grit on me then checked where he was laying. I called the front desk and informed them. I didn’t complain, or was looking for a free night stay or discount rate, I just advised her that they need to have the house keepers do their job. She got rude and hung up on me. This was not very professional.

Property was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was very busy and there were no towels available the entire time we were in the pool area (approximately an hour). I understand because of the size of the crowd but it was still a negative.

Fun pool area!

This hotel is a great stay with kids, we have stayed here one other time a few years ago. The pool is great for the littles and the bigs, as there are two areas for swimming. The slide is safe, and adds a fun element for entertainment. This visit the hot tub was broken and not in service, hoping that they are planning to fix it, as we will be back again with the kids.
