Booked a weekend stay for my mom’s birthday. We’ve been in this hotel before and loved it here that’s why we came back. The hotel room was okay but it’s not newly renovated just like they said. The bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned and the water that came out was DARK BROWN. We have kids and a baby with us, we had to use bottled water to clean them up. It’s even disgusting to brush our teeth with that water. We just wanted to celebrate so we didn’t make a big deal out of it. I don’t write reviews at all. I do not recommend booking a stay here especially if you have kids. Again, DO NOT.

I wanted to do something for my kids spring break so we decided to book at AVI. When I say the room they gave us was bad it was bad. The room did not have a smoke alarm which is something that should be checked before a guest checks in for safety and the water that was coming out what brown. When I went to ask the front the desk the first night they stated it’s normal because of well water and the entire resort was having issues. Then next day I went up to the front desk and showed them a video and a picture of the some detector missing she said they might have another room but I had to pay more. When I came back from breakfast (outside hotel) I went and they moved us rooms. I was not able to go to another hotel because it was to expensive at that point. I needed up purchasing a $60 shower filter to put in the shower head which made a difference. Please fix your water problem and check your rooms before letting the next family in. I doubt I’ll be staying here again.

Toilet was dirty, bathtub too. Carpet was old and tattered! Staff was excellent and check in and out process was easy but the room was not great! It does have comfortable beds however! A bit disappointed that there is no food room service!
