Room and hotel water had a very strong sulfur odor. Call the front desk to report and they did not offer another room, only offered to spray a deodorant to mask the smell for several hours. Had to call again and advise the odor is not gone. Housekeeping confirmed the room had a bad odor and reported to management with no resolution from hotel . Lacking table game was an issue, the non smoking tables never open during our 4 day stay.

Such a nice respite from Vegas. Large clean room with plenty of counter space and outlets. Much less crowded. Excellent restaurant. We’ll definitely be returning.

The hours of operation for some services were not as stated on their website. Some of the staff were wonderful and others were rude (especially in the Riverview Cafe). Alcoholic beverages were not served in all of the full-service restaurants. Guests had to get their own drinks from nearby bars/lounges. I enjoy a firm mattress but the beds were too hard. I booked a seven night stay and checked out after 4 nights.

If you like the old style Las Vegas rundown hotel feel, this is your place. Smells like old Vegas in the 90s with cigarette smoke-filled casino . Rooms are okay. (View)Pillows flatter than a McDonald's pancake. The buffet? I can sit here and write a book on it but I'll make it short. Disgusting. Think of your worst buffet you've experienced. Well this is worse. The food is bland. Everything is covered in a sauce to cover what you're really eating. The desserts are mostly all sugar free because most of their clientele is over 80 years old. Which is cool but not for us yet. Just plain disgusting. Why would you stay here? These spectacular views from your room of the river. That's it.

Everyone that works at the Riverside was very pleasant, didn't make you feel rushed, explained if you had a question. Food was very good, large portions. The snack bar on the South side had great sandwiches. Easy access to all areas, signage. Room was comfortable and spacious. The only thing I wish they would have kept was the music they play downstairs when Don was alive, he played oldies. Of course, times change lol. Loved seeing his car collection (saw it years ago) Other than that, Loved staying at the Riverside. Highly recommend. Was there for 6 days 5 nights. Thank you
