Bed was insanely comfy! Property is great, but not much to do around the area. Using the bus system made for affordable trips to areas with more restaurants and shopping. The staff is polite and thorough. I can do without the sales pressure, but am able to tune it out.

I booked the westin because of the pics on the website it is priced the same as all inclusive hotels with entertainment and several restaurants but westin does not have those options the hotel is very average it doesnt look like a westin ive been in other westins like the one in maui and this westin look like a holiday inn express at the most food is terrible we got sick 2 days straight and is the same food and menu in the 3 restaurant options open one at at time basically you eat the same menu over and over in the pics show a beautiful beach but dont show you the concrete barrier in front of the whole hotel because they do not have a complete beach only a little piece all the surrounding of the premises has this barrier where the waves crash because there is almost no beach but if you walk down the stairs and walk a litte you can find a beach on the side of the hotel the rooms are clean but bathrooms look old and musty and the room i was in the drawers didnt close like how they can rent rooms in that condition? The hotel has a lot of glass doors and i saw the same smudges for a period of 4 days so they dont clean a lot it was a bad experience that only got better because of the personal in this hotel every single employee in this premises is super nice helpful considerate and always have a smile is the best costumer service experience that i had is only the condition of the hotel doesnt help but employees are the best i ve ever seen in a resort

. I checked in 12/31/2025 and they put me in a different room. I had booked a Delux room with a lagoon view. Instead I received a regular room. In addition in the room water was seaping through the tile flooring the rooms were very old and outdated. The rooms had a smell of mold and mildew. I contacted management at 5:00 pm asking for a different room. He said another room would be available at 7:00 pm. Then later he came back and said the room was not available because the room did not have water. The following day he called and said the room would be available in the evening. Keep in mind my stay was only for 2 days. I asked the manager for a refund for the down graded room he refused my request. He told me to contact Expedia for the refund. Expedia was not able to help to resolve the issue.

This was a great experience! The beach is awesome and not too busy. The pools are amazing and cater to different tastes—high energy or R&R. The food is high quality at the Sea & Stone restaurant and reasonably priced for a resort. The Sports Bar menu was limited during our stay (New Year’s) and we thought it was just okay. Cancun has many great options for food so that was not an issue for our family. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really excellent as is the room. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the room on the 5th floor and could hear the waves —a nice backdrop/soundtrack to our vacation. During our time in Mexico we stayed in 3 hotels. This was by far the best. Would come back!

The ocean views are breathtaking and the staff were all friendly. Two things that were off-putting: 1. I was charged 5% higher in USD for the stay than the price I made the reservation at. According to them, their credit card machines only process in MXN pesos. To arrive at the pesos amount, they converted my USD quote at their own made up higher rate (1 USD = 18.8 MXN). This resulted in a higher charge for me in USD. 2. The service from the staff at the Arena Sports Bar is mediocre for a restaurant inside a resort. The food takes long and the staff don't make you feel welcome.
