What a great hidden little spot. If you want peace and feel like you’re in the jungle this is the place. The food is amazing and the staff is the nicest I’ve ever come across. The pool rooms on the first floor is the only way to go.

the place was really clean, it had daily house keeping and the staff was very friendly and helpful getting you around and helping you find activities. we had the swim up room and it was sooo nice, you’re allowed to swim in the pool whenever you want without time restrictions. the included breakfast is just fruits and pancake or toast and juice, but you can add eggs/ bacon for as low as 30 pesos so i’d say it’s worth it! the only negative was the smell near the ocean but it does not reach the rooms or the pool. i had a great time here and if you’re looking for more economical accommodations this is a great spot i had a really good time

My stayed at akuazul was great I would say excellent if there wasn't so much construction and areas closed off. The staff was great Sergio help me with reservations for isla mujers and suggested the La parilla restaurant. The shrimp tacos I dare to say one off the best shrimp tacos I ever had . There was a funny smell at the entrance but luckily it wasn't all over the resort the roof top pool has a great view . I would book akuazul resort again loved the pool access from our room

This hotel was a really great choice. The ground floor rooms were 10/10 i really enjoyed having access to the pool 24 hours. I’d stay here again. Only draw back was breakfast wasn’t the usual of what is normally included. Still a good choice. The restaurant was really good.

I liked this hotel because it is adult-only, which means quite, no kidding running around screaming, jumping in the pool and peeing in it. We stayed on the first floor with access to the pool from our room. The staff are great, very accommodating. They had a lot of romantic spots where couple can be alone and enjoy them selves. The only issue I had was the sea weed on the shore stank so bad, like rotten eggs, that we could not enjoy sitting by the beach. But that is everywhere in Cancun and Playa.

This is the only time in my life I checked into a hotel and left a few hours later. We had already paid but decided to stay at another place up the road anyway. It was ecclectic but rundown. There was music with loudspeakers playing right by our room. Next room also playing their own loud music and bar playing loud sports match. Maybe good if you're in your 20s and want to party but too much noise pollution to be relaxing.

If you are planning a trip to Cancun, this property is a hidden gem. What makes it unique is how it perfectly blends a relaxing vibe with top-tier convenience. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The staff goes completely above and beyond—they are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A special shoutout to Sergio at the front desk, who was my absolute favorite and made the experience even better! Having a delicious free breakfast included made mornings so easy, and the on-site restaurant and bar are fantastic for when you want to unwind with a great meal or a drink without leaving the property. Highly recommend Aquazul to any traveler looking for a seamless, high-quality experience in Cancun!

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. If we were ever in need of anything, such as extra towels, the staff were quick to meet our needs. We selected a pool access room which we thoroughly enjoyed and loved having. The only downside really, was that the property is currently undergoing renovations, so several areas weren't accessible during our stay. For example, the beach access area had a lot of sargassum and the beach equipment was not usuable. Additionally, the rooftop pool had tiles lifting and no bar service and just looked barren despite a nice view. Despite that, it was a peaceful place to relax, and we enjoyed our time here. You cannot beat the budget friendly option of this resort.

Gosh this resort was so beautiful, I stayed at the deluxe room with pool access which is open 24 hours. The breakfast was awesome, French toast, pancakes, fruit platters. And the restaurant’s food was delicious as well. Most importantly the staff is extremely hospitable and kind. Be sure to check out their backyard it’s gorgeous.

This hotel is perfect for a couple or solo people who want to do nothing but read and relax there is nothing walking distance and one restaurant with not to big of a menu
