More Information About Brisbane Airport

Does Brisbane Airport have free Wi-Fi?
Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available at Brisbane Airport. You can connect to the Wi-Fi throughout the International Terminal and the central portion of the Domestic Terminal. Simply enable Wi-Fi on your device, select “BNE Free Wi-Fi” from the available networks, register to access, and enjoy! Insider tip: If you’re at the Qantas or Virgin Australia domestic gates, you may have trouble getting a signal. Qantas offers a separate connection for their guests, but Virgin Australia does not offer Wi-Fi at the Virgin terminal.

How do I get from Brisbane Airport to the CBD?
You can head to the city by rental car, taxi, train, ride share, or bus. Taxis are available 24/7 at both the International and Domestic Terminals. The Airtrain is an easy option that can drop you at numerous points throughout the city or take you all the way to the Gold Coast. Buses will pick you up from either terminal, or you can take a ride share.

How early do I need to be at the airport for an international flight from Brisbane?
The usual rule for international flights is to arrive at least three hours before your departure time, and this is true for Brisbane Airport as well. This should leave you enough time to check your bags, pass through customs, and grab some snacks before take-off.

Is Brisbane Airport an international airport?
Yes, Brisbane Airport offers international as well as domestic flights. When you fly to or from Brisbane Airport, you’ll be joining the 23 million passengers who come through it each year! Brisbane is the third-largest airport in Australia in terms of total passengers served annually, and plenty of those are international travellers on their way to or from adventures abroad.
