5th Avenue

This street has become synonymous with shopping, but has also got some of the city’s most famous buildings and, not to forget, New York’s wonderful “Museum Mile”.

5th Avenue stretches through the heart of the city from Greenwich Village down near lower Manhattan, up through Midtown, past Central Park and the Upper East Side, to finish up in Harlem. This means the Empire State Building, the Met, The Guggenheim, and Rockefeller Center all can be found along this world-famous street. There is cool stuff everywhere, so don’t limit yourself to the fashion boutiques in the Midtown part of 5th Avenue.
