The room was very small. The air conditioning wasn't working properly. The iron was not working properly it burn my clothes you can even read the types of material to iron they are wash off or is just to old.

I love this little hotel primarily because of its proximity to the Broadway plays, most of which are a ten minute walk away. The clerk at hotel check-in did not have a hospitable spirit, but he was efficient --took care of the business, nothing else - no pleasantries, no niceties. One of the 2 elevators was not working. So there were long waits for the elevator to arrive with a full hotel and 8 floors to service. Our room was impeccable -crisp linen, bright bathroom, fluffy towels - everything clean and spotless. I was very impressed with the natural wood detail. It even had a non working fireplace and mantle. For my last stay, the room I had was older with older fixtures. But this room looks like it was recently refurbished. In spite of the elevator and the front desk person, I gave them 5 stars across-the-board because it's still a lovely place to stop, rest and reset. I only come for the theater or shopping, not to hang out in my room, so it's perfect and I'll be back.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The room and the bathroom are nice and clean. The hotel’s location is great; you can walk to many of the must see points of interest in New York. I would you this hotel again if I come back to the city.

Very disappointed with room for price. Very basicr. No kettle/coffee machine or mini refrigerator. Charged additional $160. for a roll away bed with a terrible mattress. One good thing is the location. Able to walk to many highlights of New York.

Great location and clean but bed was very uncomfortable and all six pillows were terrible. Every morning at 8:30am construction started and kept us from a leisurely time in bed after night of shows and late meals. There was no microwave, mini fridge, coffee or full length mirror in the room. These are standard even budget hotels. I will not stay here again

This place was perfect for our short stay. Excellent location for main tourist sights. Staff very friendly and helpful. No kettle in room but a good convenience store next door to buy cheap tea and coffee.

Nice hotel. The room we had was on the second floor street side. There seemed like very little noise insulation as we could hear everything outside as if the window was wide open. I live on a busy street at home, so it didn’t bother me, but I imagine it would seem very noisy to some people. Overall, the hotel was very clean, friendly staff, reasonably updated, and had comfortable beds.
