Staff were excellent, dinner was very good. The people having party next door not so great, totally out of motel owners hands but beware it was noisy and went until early morning, we got two hours sleep before 3am wake up for early flight. Shuttle bus service was great.

Walking to the nearest shops for a takeaway is kind of scary, because this is not an upper-class suburb. You can, however, feel safe when you walk to the Middlemore train station. From there, you can quickly go anywhere on the Auckland transport network. This makes Middlemore Motel a clean, comfortable, and economical place to stay for your Auckland visit.

"Very conveniently located right at the airport. It was perfect for us to stay after driving in from Tauranga and leaving for a flight to Fiji the following day. Dinner in the cafe was a bit disappointing - lack of choices and not very high quality - my fish was not fresh - but the breakfast buffet ..."
