New Otani Hotels - accommodation in Waikiki

Great location. We had an ocean front room looking onto the beach. The bed was nice and comfortable (soft). The room was a good size with lots of storage. The street was a bit noisy at night. The bathroom is tiny. The drinking glasses in the room were never replaced in the 10 days we were there. The cups provided with the coffee machine were paper cups and were also rarely replaced. We asked for a couple of wine glasses at the front desk on day 2 and these were never cleared from the room. For what we paid for the room we expected more.

Room was clean, but very outdated. Dirty carpet, wallpaper peeling off. Old and dusty, definitely overpriced. Pools and hot tubs were dirty and had gross bandaids floating around, didn’t seem like they were maintained well. Staff was all nice except restaurant staff all seemed miserable and like we were an inconvenience to them. I paid for an ocean view but got a partial and was told I would get a room when available, never got a full ocean view so that was really disappointing. Over heard a couple in the hottub have the same experience but they got upgraded their second night there. Very family friendly but so overpriced for the quality of everything. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
