Overpriced accommodation

At almost $300 US dollars, the only notable thing about the motel was it’s convenience to the ferry if you are a walk on passenger.

Location is great if you are taking an early ferry. Rooms are fine but dated. No AC but office did provide a fan. Carpet should really be pulled out. Our bathroom power did not work (GFI wouldn’t reset) and I had to ask at the office for a hairdryer. Expensive for what it is

We spent sn evening at the Horseshoe Bay motel. Check in and check out were,seamless and the property was immaculate. I would stay there again without hesitation. A true gem in the heart of Horseshoe Bay

Its a simple motel experience but what lifts it above the ordinary are: Location Cleanliness Easy Parking Naomi We could not praise Naomi highly enough. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, supportive. The only reason its not five stars for everything is it is a straightforward motel so dont expect, aircon a swimming pool and five star restaurant. Do expect to be at the centre of Horsehoe Bay nr the cafes and harbour in a clean and simole room with microwave, fridge a fan and comfortable bed and furniture.

Dreadful and unsatisfactory all around. Specifically, the carpeting was old and has probably never been steam cleaned, it was nasty. The fridge was unplugged with a freezer tray of warm melted water and a black hair on the top door shelf. The shower had no shelf or soap dish for toiletries. The mattress had pokey metal springs, noisy and should have been replaced years ago. At $212 for a night, this was terrible value. This was the worst motel experience we ever had. We picked it because of the proximity to the ferry, but that required driving back to the highway in a circuitous route which took more than 10 minutes. We will never come back here and hope when you read the reviews and if you want a clean place to stay, with good value, you will learn from us and choose another motel.

I would stay again First time traveler in this area. I was worried about being late to check in. I called and all was taken care of. We didn't have to check in at the office, it was all done and our room was ready. We chose this motel because it was super close to the ferry. Little did we know we had to backtrack, a long way, to get to the ferry. Luckily we had given ourselves lots of time, we just made our reservation. We wanted a roll-out bed, they don't have any. But we were informed of this ahead of time. Extra blankets were provided and my son was comfortable on the floor. He could have shared a bed with grandpa but... I would stay there again. I would have liked to explore the Village.

Convenient and comfortable.

Comfortable old-fashioned motel super close to the ferry terminal. Staff is friendly, there's a little sound leakage from neighbouring rooms.

Good place to rest your weary bones.

Enjoyable stay, front desk personnel were super friendly and accommodating of the details of our stay. Linens were clean, and the room quiet. Price was a little high, but then again Taylor Swift was in town so I’m sure lodging demand was high.

Excellent supportive staff. The option to purchase food and drink after hours is outstanding. The restaurant is a beautiful open concept. The staff were an absolute pleasure to interact with. Highly recommend this place. The surrounding area is so peaceful and welcoming. I especially love that park in front of the hotel. Wonderful shopping opportunities.
