Check in staff on arrival were great. Shuttle drivers were mostly professional but disinterested. Room was great. Main bed was fabulous! Pull out bed was shocking ! The sight is great and really peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

We have stayed at Q Station before and quite enjoyed it but this time was disappointing because, despite being called "deluxe", the room was very tatty with no air ventilation. I understand that it's difficult to alter an old building but the room was so stuffy (even with the fan) that it was impossible to sleep and it wasn't even that hot. Apart from the stuffiness, the paint was chipped on the walls, the carpet was really uneven, the doona had a visible stain, there was no toilet brush (surely that's an easy fix!!). Our room should not have been called "deluxe".

Such an interesting place to visit. The ghost tour is a must and really explains the rich history of the place. Walking around the grounds is very peaceful and offers some amazing views. The bar food and cafe were both very reasonable and had delicious food.

Fly screens would be a great addition so doors could remain open over night. Otherwise ventilation very poor with not cross ventilation. Fly screens also needed stop curious possums or bush-fowl from seeking out peanuts, biscuits or tea bags. Lovely views and good bus service within visitor area.

We had an amazing stay at Q Station....super relaxing at an amazing character rich location. The accomodarion was excellent, however the lack of aircon in the converted buildings was sorely missed during the exceptionally hot conditions of early January. Access to Quarantine Beach, an interesting history of the station, excellent dining options plus on-site transport only a phone call away made for a restful and interesting holiday.

Awesome location. Loved staying at a part of Sydney very few locals have had the chance to visit. Super relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back.

Overall our one night spent at Station was an interesting experience. Our room no 9 in P Block was very small but adequate. However, with only an overhead fan to circulate the hot air, it was stifling. So we slept with the dogs wide open making for a night of interrupted sleep and startling visitors - the most amazing being a Powerful owl, the size of a large cat!! Otherwise the breakfast was delicious with a wide selection and the staff were outstanding. While seeing the benefit of using a mini bus to transport guests around the complex, the too-frequent speed bumps were most uncomfortable and in our opinion unnecessary as no other car were permitted to drive on these roads.Recommendation is to spend at least a half a day exploring the historic features of this delightful place. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful harbour views from our verandah, the feeling of communing with nature and the joy of being close and yet so far away from the hustle and bustle of Manly. We will definitely be back for a longer stay but in a big room.

Nice! Great location! Awesome staff! Great history. Minor issues with maintenance - lights out, shower shelf broken, and blind/curtain broken and not able be rolled up. Will definitely be back!

Lovely spot on harbour; Easy to get to; Love the shuttle bus facility so not a lot of walking is required, however, if you wanted to - a lot of fantastic runs/walks/cycles available. BoilerRoom restaurant food VERY good.
