Unfortunately we found the room extremely noisy at night which kept us awake. The pedestrian crossing and sirens were particularly bad. We felt that the bathroom was tired-looking. I understand that the property is undergoing renovations. However I feel that this a somewhat of a basic hotel choice in the city and as such it has limited facilities. I would have utilised a reception bar or a pool etc. The location was excellent for tram use. The staff were also very courteous and thorough when sorting out a payment issue after our stay.

The hotel was in a perfect location for our purposes. It was nice and practical. However I believe it is currently under renovation and half the lobby is like a worksite. We weren’t sure if we were in the right spot because all the obvious signage says the Mantra. There are only a few small signs that say breakfree around the place. It must be re branding. Also when I tried to make a coffee in the morning all they had was decaf. All in all for the price we paid it was a decent room in a good location.
