We stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights- my husband, one year old, and I. Upon checkin, we were told nothing of the way anything works (for ex: use your key card by the door to turn on all room lights) where much of anything is located, etc. We asked for a crib- never received one. Overall everything was just okay- quality of food was ehhh- steakhouse was by far our favorite meal. The staff at the buffet are so nice. Condition of the property could use quite the overall but I do feel like we got what we paid for. It was very difficult to get a grasp on what restaurants were open when, initially. Especially with a 1 year old who eats maybe a bit earlier than the average person. We enjoyed the lounge beds by the beach but the beach area could use a refreshing and more consistent cleaning.

I actually ended up not staying, I’m Sure for those who rated this hotel 5 stars, it was for them, but I had different standards in mind. You get what you pay for.

Our room wasn’t ready at 3 o’clock check in, they were still cleaning it until about 4:30 PM. The buffet was less than average, not a lot of variety. There were only 2 bars (besides the sports bar which we didn’t get to experience because we traveled with our toddler). The bear bar sucked. Even the pina colada was inconsistent each time. Once, they poured the shot of liquor on top of the colada without mixing it. They dont have straws so I couldn’t mix the drink myself. Wound up getting a whole shot of liquor in my first sip. The beach bartender was mostly by himself with no help, so it’s no wonder why the drinks didn’t taste good and he never cracked a smile. I love that they had a lot of activities for kids. We used the trampoline, the movie theater and the kids club. All very well maintained and kid friendly. The restaurants that required a reservation were definitely better quality than the buffet. Overall I’m not sure I would return.
