The rooms was cleaned well daily. Free room service. However, dining options were limited, reservations were difficult, rules changed daily at the bars, indoors, and with making reservations. The beach was awful. Barely anyone even went to the beach. The area around the resort was not family friendly as people say.

Good value, very clean. Most of the staff was very friendly, some not so much. Limited restaurants with extremely limited reservations. Time share owners get preferential treatment, it’s very obvious. Overall it was a good vacation and our family may return at some point in the future.

EXCELLENTE!!! We had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived with Jonathan in the front lead bell boy, took our bags, welcomed us home. He helped us with everything from bags to taxis. Front desk, our gamer friend Gina helped us upgrade our room from an ocean view to an ocean front, took care of any reservations questions and all room and resort questions we had. 1 thing we could have done without was the hustling concierge that wanted to sell us a timeshare so bad he followed (escorted) us to our room and even called our room twice to get us to come to a timeshare showing. I understand it’s a business, but once we said, “No, we are on a family vacation with plans all week”, he should have gotten the hint and allowed us to enjoy our time hassle free. Other than the slight annoyance from the time share which really wasn’t a big issue, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! Pools, food options, food quality, room quality, cleanliness, room service, themed nights, it was top shelf greatness from beginning to end!

Beautiful place, friendly staff Misael at La rotonda and Eduardo at the pool bar were very attentive. The place could benefit more from having more authentic Mexican food and more music at the pool bar. Our concierge was nice on the first day but after refusing to participate in a meeting to get us to become members we never saw him or heard from him again. Overall great experience.

I really loved the rooms and pools. Staff was helpful. My only complaint was food was okay, not great, often dry. Restaurants were hard to get reservations even though never full and very slow. Dinner always took 2 hours no matter where we went. Music entertainment was lovely and enjoyed the available activities. Very easy to get into town or take a tour from the hotel. Pick up and drop off from the airport was easy and very convenient.

Property has potential to be a great place. The pools were gorgeous and staff were helpful. However, dining needs more options. 5 restaraunts are supposed to be on site. When we stayed their were only four. One was being renovated. I wish the night life on the grounds was better as well. I did enjoy the steakhouse, but you need a tree servation every night. They need another restraunt option that put prime rib on the menu....maybe an all going buffet. They could also do better with room service options.

Servicio excepcional. Puntos a mejorar: La playa podria ser un lugar mas atractivo para quien guste de bañarse en el mar. Los bares cierran sus servicios muy tamprano teniendo en cuenta que es un resort. A partir de las 10:00 cesan todas las actividades. Es una pena que el restaurante principal no estuviera en funciones durante mi visita. Le experiencia en general fue excelente.

We had an amazing time on our vacation and felt instantly relaxed here. The kids had a great time, too. The resort is pristine and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Food was good (my favorite at the breakfast buffet was the smoked salmon and fresh fruits, Mexican coffee+ hot chocolate... And the clams on seafood night!). Be sure to try the ceviche at Oceana and the BLT at La Ronda! Great staff and activities - a nice vibe. There is something for everyone here. We will be back. They will try to sell you a timeshare so be aware of that.

They list ocean view ( picture of “ocean view” room we first got ) but there was no ocean view . We paid extra $$$ for ocean view. They never have reservations available for the guests at the nice restaurants . You only get 5pm or 8:40 pm. Our concierge wanted to have us sit thru time share presentation . When we declined she stopped helping us

The place clean and staff is excellent and friendly majority of them. I only encountered two that seem miserable. The reason why I gave the staff a four on the rating. I did not like the beach. It was rundown and I do understand from the hurricane, but they could've done a better job cleaning up the seaweeds. I am a beach person and that was not on the website that the beach needs a lot of improvement so this did put a damper on my stay cause I do not like pools. The best were comfortable, but the linen is worn down and needs an upgrade in that department, housekeeping was amazing!!! Overall , it was a pleasant stay.

We recently visited the Royal Haciendas for family vacation and it was a wonderful vacation! 🏖 This resort is well-maintained and it is relaxing, quiet, and great for families! The rooms are spacious and clean - we felt right at home. We appreciated the attentive and friendly staff including Hector with the entertainment team, Cesar at breakfast, Ramiro and Leo at the poolside bar, Alejandro at Los Murales, and Alfredo, Rosa, and Edin at the front desk - thank you! The food was delicious and we liked the variety! We don't usually like to visit the same resort twice, but this was an excellent experience and we will be back.

The pool bar is great, pizza Luna has amazing pizza that’s woodfired, everything seems nice and clean. The grounds crew do a beautiful job caring for everything. Food is good, shows were fun to watch, this was our second stay at the royal hacienda would recommend to anyone. Only downfall is it’s not a swimable and picturesque beach you will need to go to downtown 5th ave or Cozumel for that.

The hotel itself was very well maintained and clean. However, the food was so awful which was so disappointing because we had an all inclusive deal. The staff seemed too busy and wasn’t attentive towards the guest. The cleaning staff was very friendly. Overall I’m disappointed and would not go back just for the food experience.
