I’ve been to Mexico for all inclusive stays several times, and this by far has been the greatest experience. Lisandro was our concierge and he went over the moon to assist my family and I, and made this experience so wonderful. The staff were so kind and helpful and the property was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back here.

Seemed that they needed more staff. Staff didn't connect as well with guests as they have in the past (this was my 4th time staying here). Impossible to get reservations at any of the restaurants, so we never got to eat at any of the three the entire 5 days we were there. Room service was not good. There are now limited hours and a limited menu. Even though we ordered during the "open time frame," we were still charged over $20, and the room service food was terrible. The rooms were clean. I'm not sure if I'll stay here again. It was much better the last 3 times I was there.

We stayed at the El Beso for one week and vacation in Mexico at least once a year. What can I say about the El Beso at Ocean Riviera Paradise? It was one pleasant surprise after the next. The delicious food and variety of restaurants kept our taste buds delighted throughout our stay. The turn-down service added a touch of luxury, and the endless unique and entertaining activities ensured we were never bored. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and hours of fun in the waves. The pools were huge, and the fun waiters made great drinks—no watering down the drinks here! I can't say enough about the resort. Thank you for this unforgettable stay!

I am not even sure how to start typing my review for this resort. First of, I want to say thank you to our wonderful butler named Maria Fernanda for helping us with all the reservations needed for the restaurants, for helping my boyfriend set up the room for our 3 year anniversary- setting up rose petals and bottle of champagne, for being there throughout the whole stay in case we needed anything. I also want to thank our wonderful concierge Alberto Cab for upgrading our room to a swim out with ease and answering all the questions we had throughout the stay. The resort itself was very clean, smelled really nice once you walk in, and they welcome you with a complimentary drink! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming! I felt safe and comfortable anywhere in the resort - whether I was in the lobby, the restaurants, the pools, the beach, the club, coffee shop. I was always greeted by staff anywhere we were and even got a call in my room from the concierge asking how our stay was and if we needed anything. My boyfriend and I stayed at the adults only section of the resort, and we definitely enjoyed our vacation! I would definitely recommend this resort to families and friends and we will definitely be coming back soon!

The resort staff were friendly and helpful. When I arrived my bag was left at the entrance to be delivered to my room. I was given a drink at check-in and received a free upgrade to my room. The beach was beautiful and free of seaweed. I do recommend swimming shoes due to the shells and rocks. There were daily pool activities and tons of entertainment options including a theatre, disco, bowling and more. I enjoyed my spa day which included a massage, facial and hydrotherapy. The amenities were ok but some items such as slippers and cups for refreshments were not stocked in the spa. This didn't take away from how great I felt after my spa treatments. Overall it was a nice resort that I would visit again.

If you’re looking for an adult resort go somewhere else. There is only one adult only restaurant and it’s not open every night or morning. One adult pool other than that you are going to be around children. Lots of children. I give the food 4 out of 10.. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff in general are not friendly especially in the sports bar where children are welcome. Also don’t bring your pick ball paddle they have a basketball court and a portable net.. I would highly recommend you stay here if you have small children.

We have went to 20 different properties in the Cancun, playa del Carmen area and this is the worse resort we have been to. It is very misleading when it says adult only resort. We have been to a resort where one half is kids and one half adults so we are familiar with that idea. That resort lived up to its advertising not this one. The only area that is adults only is 1 pool, 2 restaurants and occasionally the buffet and your hotel room. This is a very kids oriented resort. Tons of stuff including activities for kids to do and they are all over. The food was subpar. The buffet was not good and never changed menu. There is an adults only side to the buffet at night time but there were times when kids were even in that area.The speciality restaurants were fairly decent. The restaurant by the ocean was good. We have never been to a resort with such bad service both in restaurants and pool and ocean side. We found maria the very last day at the ocean she was very good for bringing drinks. Becareful when walking on the pedestrian sidewalk there is little lips in the blocks and i seen many people trip, we walked on the road. Pablo was excellent for being our main contact. Once guest service found out we were not happy they contacted us every day to see how we were. Them contacting us every day was not going to help our experience

We really enjoyed our stay at El Beso Ocean Riviera. Pros- The beach at the resort is beautiful! The staff work hard at keeping it clean and free of seaweed. The food is excellent, we loved the diversity of choices for restaurants, the Italian place was fantastic and even the food at the buffet was better than expected. Great service at most places, Merlin in the lobby lounge was a fav for us! Cons- THIS IS NOT AN ADULT ONLY EXPERIENCE. We booked in El Beso adult only. The building itself was adult only, and they do offer an adult only pool, but if you're looking for a kid free holiday, this is not the resort for you. There is 1 adult only dining option available for breakfast and open sometimes for dinner. Twice we attempted to go for dinner and there was a wait as the "privilege" guests can book, even though it was supposed to be first come first serve. Overall it was fine for us as we dont mind kids, but it would be a very big let down if you are expecting an adult only experience. The rooms are also a little bit tired and could use some updating.

The combo deal was really attractive but the resort is more than 8 years now and you noticed a lot of the condition has not been maintained well. Repairs are done sloppy and wall batches are covered with beige colour painter’s tape instead of proper batches and paint. Wooden doors are no longer smooth and makes a lot of noises when opening them. Even garbage bins in the washroom have broken steps. Overall the design and set up is nice but the scent they used in the rooms created a weird after smell with the old furniture. The amenities and programs are nice but food quality is also off. None of the dishes are cooked properly to represent that specific dish. Staffs are AMAZING and that made a difference. The resort had a presentation portion they offer guests to attend in return for some coupon and resort voucher. Is a sell pitch presentation and most resorts or tours in other countries offer similar. They do summarize the purpose in advance but can be lengthy. Overall still enjoyed the deal and the location but well deceived from selecting this resort based on pictures.

They were very attentive but I did not like how people kept haggling us and it took away the relaxing part of vacation

First time to the Oceans chain . El beso (adults onlyside) rooms were very dated and needs much improvement .pools were in poor shape Good food and dining experiences Staff friendly and helpful Beach was nice. Lots of Chairs but alot are in rough shape, sagging or missing ropes We found out about liquor restrictions when we tried to get our first ketel one vodka (not allowed) very disappointed with that Overall , good for families Lots of monkeys daily Don’t need to go back to this resort anytime soon
