I normally stay at resorts. Due to special circumstances, I needed a hotel for a couple of days. This thing is two blocks from fifth Street, it is quiet, and I was completely surprised at how nice it is. Very low-key well maintained. I had a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, exhaust, stove, sink, small dining table, pantry, and they provide dishes, cooking supplies, forks, knives, mugs, and glasses.
The bedroom was a separate room with an attached bathroom. Everything was very comfortable very clean. Very small balcony, but enough for a couple of chairs that overlooked the street.
A few dumb things they could improve on, and all of these could be easily fixed by the hotel. There was no iron or ironing board. The Frontdesk provided me with the iron, but the ironing board was not available. The iron had a short cord on it, maybe 4 1/2 feet. This was annoying because you had to find an outlet and find somewhere/thing to use as an ironing board. The phone number listed in Expedia to call them doesn’t work.
Because I plan to return, I asked multiple times if the two bedroom room was available and a few days later, once I had left to a resort, I returned and asked if I could see any rooms to show my a friend. They said none were available each time, but for some reason, I just didn’t believe him. It was weird.
You can’t go wrong staying here if you just need a good comfortable safe hotel that looks great.
