We enjoyed the convenience of the mini market across the street and being able to walk to Playa Del Carmen (~30mins). The only negative was our original room. We were out in a first floor standard room that had a mildew odor and rattling AC sound. After asking a couple times we were able to be moved to a 3rd floor double standard room that was so much better. Staff were wonderful, so kind and accommodating. Beach was incredibly beautiful. We would stay here again, but would request a 2nd or 3rd floor unit or a junior suite.

3/5 stars at best. Not sure how this for 4.something/5. To start, food was meh, decent options but bland. Drinks were also meh. Very very sweet and best liquor was Bacardi or Jose Cuervo and had to ask for that. Otherwise you’d get liquor and get a sugar high. Our room was dated and felt humid yet cold so you felt like you slept under wet sheets. The room had these little flies all around the door that looked like sewer flies. Had to get into the room very quickly not to get them inside as well. Some staff was very friendly some not so much. Hit or miss. They had brown very rough towels. Thank god I didn’t have a sunburn cuz if I did I would have been hurting from the rough towels. Very disappointed in that. There was a cute area outside of the hotel to go shopping. Good crepe place there too. Orange juice was not freshly squeezed. Very sad.
