The host was very responsive. Other than that, this property did not match the online listing, beware. First of all, the back door lock is broken, a safety hazard. This house needs a ton of attention. (I left a 2 page "to-do" list for the host for how to update and fix all the broken things in this house) The baseboards and blinds are filthy. The blinds are broken leaving the light to come through each window while sleeping. The bathrooms lack towel bars/hooks and the towels are small, worn, & dingey. Most rooms have 1 working lightbulb. Floor boards and toe kicks are broken and poorly installed. The grill outside is a mess, needs to be replaced. The outdoor furniture is worn and broken. The doorknob in the master bedroom and the front room downstairs are broken. Next door there is a hoarding situation with about 8 chihuahuas who live outside in the heat (dirty water bowls) without proper care and attention that bark day and night. I tried to look up a humane society to report to. You are next to major highway and cars were drag racing at night. Cabinet knobs were falling off, there was 1 pan and 1 small pot in the kitchen with about 9 lids so we were unable to properly cook for our family. The pool was nice but small. We paid for the heater (50/day) in early March and it made the water just barely warm. It's unfortunate because with some care this could be a good property, but you can tell that the handyman or owner are not showing up anytime regularly to this house.
