Clean and comfortable. Staff were kind, courteous and helpful. Convenient to Hay Street Mall and, more importantly for me as I was visiting for a Specialist medical appointment, Royal Perth Hospital was 4 minute walk away from the hotel. I was delighted to find that the air conditioning was reverse cycle and the room could be kept warm through the night.

Hotel was fine with off street parking. Great location, only 10 minute walk to Murray Street and pubs. Quiet during the night. Air-conditioned worked well and TV reception was excellent. Room smelt a bit musky and it was an old style room but overall good value for money at $150 per night.

A nice hotel for people on a budget, but it certaainly does need a refurb. While everythinf was perfectly functional it was very dated. Breakfast was good value and well presented. The location was good and easy for busses and trains.

It's odd, only a fortnight later on the same night of the week and a very different experience. Upgraded on arrival (sounds great), however in the end the room was dark less impressive then feeling upgraded. Bathroom was grimey, balcony room made more noise then previous visit. At breakfast first plate and bowl for the buffet were both caked in old food crud. Unfortunately, not worth returning.

Housekeeping could have been better. Upon returning to my room after a long day, the housekeeping staff had cleaned the main sleeping area, and the bed was made. However, trash in the garbage can in the washroom was not taken out.
