Summary:
✨ A quiet lakefront home built for slowing down. Wake up to water views, spend the afternoon in the screened lanai and private pool, then watch the sun go down over the lake from the tree swing. Three queen bedrooms give everyone their own room and their own door, so it works just as well for couples traveling together as it does for a golf weekend. Ten minutes from the airport, twenty to the parks, and far enough from both that you can actually hear the birds. ✨
The Space:
Our Orlando home sits right on the water, and the back of the house is the reason to book it. A large screened lanai opens onto a private pool, with the lake beyond it and a tree swing hung between the palms.
Things you'll ❤️ about our home:
💦 Your own private pool, screened in so you can be outside without the bugs
🏝️ A true lakefront view that makes the whole trip feel slower
🌴 A tree swing between the palms for the best seat at sunset
🛏️ Three queen bedrooms, so every couple gets their own room and their own door
🍳 A full kitchen with stainless appliances for the nights you'd rather stay in
💻 A dedicated workspace if you're stretching a long weekend into the week
🧺 Your own washer and dryer, no packing around laundry day
🚗 A garage and private driveway with room to park, no shared lots or hunting for a spot
⛳️ Eagle Creek and North Shore Golf Club both close by
🐊 Split Oak Forest, Lake Toho, and the Boggy Creek airboats for the Florida that isn't a theme park
Guest Access:
• The whole home is yours, including the garage.
• The garage is accessed from inside the house, and it's where you'll find the washer and dryer, free to use.
• Please note we do not provide a garage door remote, so parking is in the driveway.
The Neighborhood:
Our home sits on a quiet residential street with the lake at the back. Close enough to Orlando that nothing is a chore, far enough that the evenings are actually quiet.
Golfers have Eagle Creek and North Shore right nearby. Lake Nona's restaurants are a short drive, with everything from casual to genuinely good inside of fifteen minutes. When you want the outdoors instead, Split Oak Forest, Lake Toho, and the airboats at Boggy Creek are all close. Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld run 20 to 35 minutes when you do want the parks.
Getting Around:
• Orlando International is 10 to 15 minutes away, which makes a long weekend easy.
• A rental car gives you the most flexibility, though Uber and Lyft cover the area well.
• Toll roads are usually worth it, especially heading toward the parks. Google Maps will route you.
Other Things to Note:
• The pool is not heated.
• Smoking is NOT allowed indoors.
• Parties are NOT permitted at the home.
• Quiet hours are 11pm to 7am. We are in a residential neighborhood so please be respectful to the neighbors.
• Exterior security cameras cover the driveway and entry points only. Nothing inside, and nothing facing the pool or lanai.
Interaction with Guests:
• Guests will self check-in and check-out per the instructions provided near their arrival date. The place is your own, private retreat. Although no one lives or is staffed there 24/7, please reach out to us if you need anything and we will respond promptly.
• We co-host this home ourselves, so when you message, you're reaching us directly. If anything comes up during your stay, tell us early and we'll take care of it.
