I stayed in a few midrange and higher-end hotels that were good value in NYC that I would recommend, but this hotel, with a great lest minute deal, stood out as as superior to them all. Booked a standard room, but still had a city view. The entire outside wall was a window. The bathroom/shower was very modern and the king bed was super comfortable. Superior selection of TV options, including MAX. Rooms were very quiet with I think concrete walls between the rooms. You could tell they put a lot of effort to design a higher-end room experience in the smaller spaces that NYC hotels afford.

The bell staff and front line staff were amazing. The restaurant recommendations were exactly what I was looking for. I was even surprised when I directed to the Fashion Institute museum. What a gem. We had a great stay! Perfect location to walk around the city. We also had a nice meal at Versa, their rooftop restaurant. The only complaint I guess was the restaurant was on the 5th floor rooftop. It was very nice though.

I did like the aesthetics and loved the location it’s prime so I guess that’s what they’re charging for. I do feel like it was overpriced in regards to what you get. I feel like other hotels take care of you better with little touches in the room but the location really can’t be beat.
