We came to the UES to visit our daughters. The hotel was in an excellent location - close to parks, the river, coffee shops, etc. Service was great. The staff were all warm, friendly and helpful. There’s free wine and popcorn in the afternoon and coffee in the morning. Our room was clean and a nice size. The only downside is that it’s an older hotel and in need of renovation - although I believe that’s being worked on. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Awesome staff, space, and location.

Everything was great. Close proximity to our daughter so that simplified our logistics. The staff was great, the amenities in the lobby were just what we needed, the room was great, and the property was well maintained. We'll definitely be back.

Female Staff member did not greet me when I approach the front desk and was talking to a male staff member. She continued to ignore me after she looked right at me and I finally had to ask if I was at the right place to check in. She responded yes and continuing talking to him. Very unprofessional and rude! Also after telling me she needed my credit card in case I charge anything to the room, I noticed my card was charged $100! When I asked about this the next day she told me it would come off my card in 5 to 6 days. Why the hell should they have my money for 5 to 6 days when I didn’t charge anything to my room!

Great place to stay

The water in the lobby is very nice and the hotel itself is in a quiet safe area if you need to stay up North. The hallways and common areas need updated and the carpeting. There was also some mold in the bathroom sink edge. Our beds were very comfortable and the price was wonderful.
