This is NOT a luxury hotel, nor does it charge luxury hotel rates. But the STAFF is FABULOUS and the facilities perfectly adequate, if not bette rthan that. They say you get what you pay for, but the staff were a pleasant surprise. I came down to the lobby for two complimentary glasses of wine (a nice malbec, by the way) and light snacks, and as I struggled to get them back to the room the attendant brought me a tray, then accompanied me to and called the elevator, then reached in and pressed my floor. Front desk staff were equally welcoming, inquiring (based on a correct surmise) how we'd enjoyed the show as we returned at about the right time for that surmise. Everything was clean and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room was spotless, and the staff was very competent and helpful. The location in Midtown was perfect to get to any of the areas I wanted to visit. I’ve stayed in many New York hotels over the years and frankly, this is one of the best in terms of value that I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in.
