Yes the room was spotless. The bed was perfectly enormous. I would say this though, one has to be very carefull getting out of the shower, it can be easy to have a bad slip. The staff are excellent and i want to give a huge hoorah to Whitney who helped me get the times and flight numbers of my departure, things that i did not know.

This hotel is an absolute oasis in the heart of New York City. Beautiful vibe and decor in all public spaces, great gym, amazing food and service in bar and restaurant, and super comfy quiet room with a gorgeous terrace. I will be back!

This hotel had some great features but also several drawbacks. The elevator system was excellent — fully automated, you just scan your key and it takes you directly to your floor. The gym was spacious with modern equipment, the lobby looked impressive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room itself was very small. While the view was nice, the smell inside was unpleasant, with dirty carpets and floors adding to the issue, so overall it didn’t feel clean. The soundproofing between rooms was good, but street noise was still loud enough that I had to sleep with earplugs.

Stay from Friday to Monday. Convenient location and that’s pretty much sums up all the positive. After 2 days there was no room cleaning service, We called downstairs and was told “we only clean every other day”. The next day came and still no cleaning service. We went downstairs and was informed they offer cleaning service daily and we must have stayed in the room or had the do not disturb button on during service. No and no. Front desk blamed everything on “third party”. We used the in room phone but they said it is sometimes transferred to a third party. We have no ideas what they were talking about. Third party or not the hotel is responsible for ensuring information relayed to guests was correct. They offered to send someone up at 5pm and we declined as we just got back and would like to get ready for dinner. After we left for dinner, the cleaning staff came to clean. We realized that they just made the bed without changing the sheet (there was a small make up stain in the sheet which was still there after the cleaning). The room was small and thin walled. We could hear people opening their doors and using the elevators all night long. There was no in room fridge, only a cooler that honestly didn’t work that well. The internet was closer than our own WiFi. The staff was friendly in person but gave inconsistent answers to the same issue. It feels like a group of college kids running a start up.

I loved that when I got to the hotel at noon they were able to check me in at 1! The service was fast and pleasant. The breakfast restaurant was an added surprise. I can’t stop thinking about that silky and delicious omelette I had there. Rooms were clean, housekeeping services were responsive and the rooftop cozy.
