This space was perfect! Plenty of lounge space to not feel cramped for my husband and I. It was very clean, modern and well equipped! Spacious closet to hang our clothes and keep our suitcases stored. Clare was very responsive with any questions we had. It was a quick 4 minute walk to St. Charles to hop the streetcar for travel ease, and just a few streets from the beautiful homes of the Garden District. We would definitely book here again for our next visit! Big comfort, cozy space

Everything was as described-very clean & comfortable. I missed that there is only a microwave & small fridge (no stove/oven) so the pizza I picked up to bake went with us to the next stop. Within walking distance to the trolley so it worked well for our stay. Thanks to Claire for her hospitality!

What an amazing stay. The space was very clean and surprisingly spacious for a studio. Walkable to the shops and restaurants on St. Charles and Magazine street. There was a HUGE second line parade that went right down our street, which was so cool to see. And Clare was the best host!

Even though "spacious" is in the description, we were pleasantly surprised by how roomy, comfy and luxurious this space felt. Extra touches like local snacks and premium bedding gave it a special feel. The only negative is that there is a bar about a block away that played very loud music until about midnight, loud enough to cut through earplugs and a pillow over the head. I don't know if this was just a Halloween thing or normal for weekends. Otherwise, the location is a great value - only 3 blocks from the Charles St. Trolley and the Garden District. Most cars in the neighborhood were in terrible shape, which made us worry about someone hitting our rental car, but that also seemed to be the norm for New Orleans - so I'd recommend going car-free here and just using the convenient transit options.

Fabulous New Orleans stay

Clare’s property is gorgeously appointed and has everything you need with excellent quality and attention to details. Very comfortable bed, pillows and high thread count sheets. Wonderful snack basket for when I keep forgetting to buy food and variety of Kcup coffees. Loved it and will definitely recommend and come back!

Stayed for the superbowl and was extremely happy with the location. Very close to the Superdome. Area was clean. Host left snacks and bottled water. Did see a few strains of hair in the bathroom and on the bed. But other than that it was extremely clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend.

NOLA visit

The apartment was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the streetcar line and there was sufficient room for parking on the street. We are very happy with our choice to stay at this VRBO.

Great Bang for Your Buck

My son and I were looking for a reasonably priced place to land for a couple of days when we decided to make an impromptu trip to the Sugar Bowl. This was perfect. Imagine a classy hotel room without the burden of elevators and noisy people next door. Sadly, there was a terror attack and our plans had to change. The host was great about helping us stay an extra day to accommodate our schedule change. It was much appreciated. If you know NOLA, then you know that it is a beautiful, real and gritty city. We love it. But, be prepared for some real life happening on the street outside this rental. Nothing dangerous or disturbing...just real people, in a real place, trying to get by. We will be back.
