Room and overall decor of the hotel were lovely. Location is very convenient, close enough to all the sites but not so close as to be bothered by the partying when you want to relax. Service of the staff was attentive and helpful. One minor suggestion would be better tracking of room request. We were booked into a room with 3 people and at check in there were only 2 sets of towels and robes, which we mentioned in the morning and were given extra towels. In the evening we received a surprise delivery of Macaroons, which was lovely but also for 2 people. At the next days room refresh the setup was again for 2 people. Every time we mentioned anything it was very quickly addressed but it would have been nice that once a reservation is for a certain amount of people the amenities are setup based on that number of people. Breakfast was great and the speak easy bar is a great place to hang out.

Our trip to New Orleans was unforgettable, and I completely fell in love with this hotel. Maison Métier is truly something, every single detail was to die for. I was obsessed the moment we walked in, it felt moody, elegant, and exactly what I was looking for to make my fiancés birthday perfect. The decor alone is worth the stay — the brass accents, vintage-inspired fixtures, the stunning snake shower handle, glass knobs, arched doorways, and those charming little design touches everywhere you look. The bathtub ! I’ve included photos because words honestly don’t do it justice. Every corner felt intentional and full of character. We absolutely loved the gorgeous, moody speakeasy vibe downstairs The breakfast area was adorable and cozy, and the food was actually delicious. A huge bonus: they even let us borrow these adorable umbrellas, which made walking around the city feel even more charming. I don’t know how to walk without them. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Everything was so walkable, and the streetcar stop was right at the end of the street, making getting around effortless. One of my favorite things was how peaceful it felt. Even though we saw other guests here and there, it never felt overcrowded — it genuinely felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service and staff were exceptional: warm, polite, friendly, and incredibly accommodating without ever being overbearing. We will most definitely will be back.

This is one of most charming hotels I’ve stayed in. Room was well appointed, super clean, quiet and bathroom was terrific—huge with nice quality sundries. The staff could not have nicer, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The coffee service in the morning was a standout, and little extras like cookies and wine and cheese were very much appreciated. This feels more like a small boutique hotel than one affiliated with a large brand like Hyatt. We would 100% stay again next time we are in NO.

A True Boutique Hotel

Our room was beautifully appointed and furnished! Every need was met with prompt and friendly service. The hidden speakeasy bar and complementary wine and cheese was not the more usual type of hotel "free" offerings -but top notch wines and cheese boards. The hotel was the highlight of our first visit to New Orleans!

This is a beautiful hotel, it has real French charm. Rooms are beautiful, comfy beds. Sheets could be bit softer. Service is great, love the coffee/tea service at your door each morning. Breakfast was delightful. Loved the speakeasy room and love the decor of the bar area. We will be back!
