Great location, nice view from balcony. Clean hotel and professional staff. A bit dated furniture and doors/windows, but based on the fact that we were in the old and historic town, it wasn't that bad. It blended in. Bourbon street was a block away, nice walking, restaurants shops, good time, All was great

Lots of system issues at this hotel. Rooftop pool and gym being renovated, elevators not working, hot water out for one of the days, power out, TV out. The lobby is still pretty, but wow, amazing they call this an Omni.

The room was in good condition. I only give three stars because I had preordered extras to be brought to my room before I arrived. That did not happen. When I requested these things at the hotel, a young male staffer eventually came to my room. Knocked once, but then quickly proceeded to enter into my room before I had a chance to open the door. I really didn’t appreciate some stranger coming into my room without permission. I could have been in the bathroom.

Elevators were completely out of order on Friday and Saturday only one was working. Being 73 yo and on the 7th floor was not acceptable. Hotel did not offer any discount for the inconvenience. This is not a 4 star hotel. More like a big zero.

Hotel is under construction so the rooftop balcony was closed. The pool was closed. There was no hot water one day. The bathroom sink had a leak which got on our clean towels. The elevator went out so had to climb stairs for 2 days. The TV kept losing connection to our station. There was no breakfast offered. Nothing offered to us because of all their problems. I do not recommend staying there.

This once was a nice hotel. Unfortunately, its days of better are long one. Room are outdated. Elevators didn't work and we were on the 6th floor, power went out multiple times, a/c and heat went out on the last night and maintenance couple fix it. Hopefully they will update this place soon or lay more attention to necessities.

I’ll start by saying the staff was wonderful. The hotel itself needs major renovations. The rooms are outdated, stains on carpet, black marks on bedskirt, wallpaper peeling in bathroom, drains and grout in shower need to be replaced, wood floor on balcony needs to be stripped and repainted and electrical plugs on desk don’t charge or hold a plug. Being an Omni I was shocked to see the rooms in such need of major upgrades.

We upgraded to a room with a jetted tub. The view from the window was 3 air conditioner units & a wall. The air conditioners turn off & on constantly all night, making it hard to sleep. The jets in the tub - there were 2 & didn't do much more than move water around. There was a cabinet that stuck out & could have been pushed in. It was too heavy for us to push so everytime we used the restroom at night we'd run into the corner. The night before we left the elevators broke. By morning they had 1 working at limited capacity. We got to carry all our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. The staff is great & the location was perfect to easily walk almost everywhere. Unfortunately the room/ hotel issues diminish the overall impression.

Staff was extremely attentive and detail oriented. They were fantastic. Room: Tub diverter was broken. Bed and pillows were too soft and not comfortable (individual preference). Hotel location was excellent and loved our balcony room. And did I mention the people/staff were excellent.

Location is perfect. Service is good. Bellman are very kind, welcoming, and helpful. With that said, I was not impressed with this hotel whatsoever. We stayed 4 nights. We arrived at 4:30 pm or so and wasn't able to get into our room until 5:30 pm. Our room was not ready. I did receive a 100$ comp on our bill for the inconvenience. The room is extremely small and not close to luxurious. Bathroom was ridiculous. I'm a little flabbergasted at paying what we did. The carpet is old and disgusting that I did not dare to walk barefoot. The french doors to outside our room were facing another wall in a corner. It was weird to not walk out and be in the courtyard. It was like opening up into a little cubby hole. There were multiple rats frolicking in the courtyard at night and a dead one that was there our whole stay. The rooftop bar/pool was under construction so didn't get to experience that. No notice that it was off limits. The elevators were a major issue with 1 down, and the other two with very heavy traffic so it was a pain. Then on our 3rd day there the 2nd elevator went down.My room was next to the ice room and I could hear running water all night. It was one of THE LOUDEST rooms I have ever stayed in. I could hear every word in the hallway and outside. I definitely would NEVER stay here again.
