The hotel was clean the staff lovely. We had tea and coffee in the room.There was some noise at night but thats hard to avoid in the french quarter. I wish the culture for food and drink was less disposable. Id have been really pleased to have reusable cup and spoons. So much plastic waste created everywhere.

The staff was fabulous. On top of everything, personable with great area recommendations. Room was comfortable with all the necessities. Bathroom is small but didn't bother us. Hotel had the great NOLA character we were looking to capture on our visit.

Rooms were horribly dark. Mattresses were about the worst I have had in a hotel. The area is super convenient if you want to party, we did not. The hotel bar and restaurant is seriously lacking. I found the valet/belhop to be overly pushy and demanding to carry bags and give us a tour and the front desk clerks to be rude as well. Not a great stay.

We loved staying at Hotel St. Marie. Great location, old world charm, quiet (!), and clean. All of the employees are friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to greet each day. We actually stayed here for New Year’s 2025, so yes we were here when the attack happened on Bourbon Street. The hotel staff was amazing and made us all feel safe. They communicated well and were very helpful. We had our kids with us and they didn’t mind that the kids got restless when we were in lockdown. I can’t say enough about the staff here and how welcoming and professional they were if we ever come to New Orleans again we will stay at the hotel Saint Marie.

Beds clean and comfy, walls not thin, if you stay on a street balcony… you will hear the guy that reves his engine ubering down the street all night, the trash being picked up nightly, and the street cleaners… bring earplugs because the balcony was totally worth it
