Very average but the price was reasonable. We just needed a quick overnight stay. We were in a rush to catch a ferry so the continental breakfast was convenient. Needs some updating, elevator very very slow. Close to downtown and easy car access to Departure Bay and Duke Point ferries to mainland.

I have booked room with 2 queen beds on Expedia but the hotel person said that I have booked double beds . I showed the person my booking with queen beds mentioned there but nothing was done by hotel or Expedia. Fan in bathroom was very noisy. Never recommend anyone to book this travelogde especially with Expedia

Sauna was under renovation

The sauna (which was the main reason we booked this hotel) was under renovation and not accessible. We never were contacted by the hotel to let us know this was the case; we would have rebooked elsewhere if we knew. The staff itself was friendly though.

I was worried because my daughter went to Nanaimo with her friend (it was first time without me.), but Terry, Calci, and the manager helped them so well that I checked in well.

The continental breakfast was way too basic and nothing much to it. No toast, bagels, cereal, pancakes or anything. There were peanut butter and jam but that’s not something you put on muffins. It was a super plain and basically the cheaper price than most hotels in the area. Hotel needs a bit of an updated with the hallways but the rooms are nice.
