After staying at a different Quality Inn in Victoria a few days early, one of the things I LOVED about my room in Nanaimo was the darkening shades - helps with sleep so much. Nanaimo is a quiet city but this hotel is walking distance to some decent restaurants and bars.

Parking was good but not accessible when you were checking in so it would be good if a sign was available to advise new arrivals that parking was only accessed after check in. Expensive but very clean quiet and well equipped.

The hotel stay was good. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The negatives are the parking was an issue. Not enough underground parking and street parking was limited. An upgrade on the toilet paper quality would be nice. But overall would recommend.

Clean, comfortable room. It’s in an odd location but still within walking distance of the wharf area (although there were quite a few homeless and obviously drugged-up people on the streets; felt a little uncomfortable)

Looks all fairly new and looks tidy and clean, so that’s a big plus! There is a microwave but no cutlery, plates, cups ( other than some disposable ones ) no wine glasses so it feel’s very bear on that side.
