Rooms are just OK, in need of renovations for sure. Never see staff, they want everything over text or email, very impersonal. Be prepared to pay for parking also, its crazy with how much the rooms are

Beautiful room for the price!! Right off Cannery Row and your can’t get much better than that. If I’m being bit-picky, the hotel could use some renovations but I don’t judge based on that. It’s clean, nicely maintained, has covered parking (there is a fee), contactless check in/out, and walkable to so many cool spots. Definitely recommend!

View wasn't much to see, as there was a walkway and then a building. Parking was OK. Bed was too soft for an extended stay. TV stopped working, but staff were quick to replace it with a new TV, handled quickly on next day. It was a very short walk to Cannery Row restaurants and shopping.

The room was spacious. I appreciated that. The hotel is well located. However, the upkeep of the hotel is subpar. The rooms are clean, but the rugs are ripped and old, the halls are dingy and the carpet worn. Some of the bathroom pipes are rusty. There is no lobby or areas outside the rooms for relaxing. The hotel is highly AI’d so the staff is not forthcoming. We asked for towels that were not in our room, and were directed to a kiosk to enter the request. (Altho’ the clerk gave them to us.) For such a lovely area and pretty good potential in the rooms (fireplace, AC, frig, microwave), the hotel is allowing itself to deteriorate. Unfortunate.

Room was clean, excellent location right on the running path. When booking out in a request for top floor, and hotel accommodated. Wanted to cut down noise for our toddler while sleeping, however the hotel was very quiet.

You have to pay for parking per night and it isn’t even secure parking anyone from the street can walk into the parking area however it was a very nice area and conveniently located. The room is decent and the sheets were clean, balcony with two plastic foldable chairs was convenient. Very dated facility! If you prefer convenient, certainly located verses hotel luxuries this is the places for you.

Room didn’t look like the pictures online and smelled bad and the sink in the bathroom felt like it was about to fall off the wall. There was a road right outside the room and traffic noise from early, early in the morning was very loud, sounded like big trucks.

Older property. Nice rooms, comfy beds, decent amenities. Very clean. No breakfast, but an expresso machine in the lobby and Keurig in the room. Fireplace in the room is nice on cool, coastal mornings. Best feature: walking distance to Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Old Wharf. We were able to leave our cars behind much of the time. The neighborhood felt safe. The streets are clean. There are excellent bike/walking paths. Cons: I didn't care for digital check-in, but I always found a live person available to help. Staff were friendly and helpful. Concerning: the rooms sit above the parking area on massive posts. It felt stable. However, I didn't see any of the cross-bracing that would indicate seismic upgrades. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
