Breakfast is room service everyday, which is nice. Another thing that made me super delighted of my stay in Monterey Bay Inn is their superb customer service and their genuine care for their guests. We went there for my birthday. I did not tell the Front Desk, she noticed it because she was paying attention to the card that I handed her. I got a nice bottle of champagne complimentary from the hotel. It was beautiful. It made my birthday extra special. I wish to thank the hotel's Front Desk personnel for making all these possible.
I paid for a Cannery Row view but got a partial Ocean View without needing to upgrade.

The cost of stay does not reflect the quality of the hotel. Lacking in modernity, cleanliness, and quality. Location is wonderful, the ocean view is not worth the upgrade. There is a nice hot tub with lookout/view on fourth floor.

Great spot to book for visiting Monterey!

Great room right on the water, loved that the front desk mentioned that we would need a sofa bed for our son and talked about the upgrade. It ended up being the best! We are very pleased with our stay and hope to be able to come back soon!
