There is an assigned parking spot for each person so parking was not an issue. Breakfast was OK but you had to ask for the yogurt and fruit. There were no indications in the dining room. What you were supposed to do when you got there otherwise the room was clean. Place was a little rundown, but still very clean and very nice.

The pillow sheets and bed sheets were not new. We checked in after 8:30PM, so there were no staff on site to address this problem. The old building charm and friendly staff are real.

Everything was great! Suchs a lovely place to stay! It was a bit pricey but definitely worth it! I had a good breakfast, comphy bed , nice room with everything clean! You could get water all the time and you had options to eat inside or outside where they had a beautiful outdoor sit area!

Staff were good. Our room was clean but small, paint was chipped. Carpets in hall were old and somewhat dirty. It’s advertised as classic but needed cleaning and paint inside. Breakfast was minimal. It would be nice if a couple of USB chargers were installed but it’s ok, it’s classic. We won’t come again.

Quaint historic - great location and more affordable Understand it’s well booked throughout the year due to decent value (high cost area) but keep in mind that is historic - older. Hotel has a mix of rooms – a relatively small room with standard queen bed, queen room on corners, rooms on upper floor with King sized beds – understand they are larger but have a lower ceiling due to roof line. Also a few “cabins”. There is a garden area and a lounge area for public use. At arrival there ere cookies and sparkling wine. They pour wine after 5pm. We received super friendly reception at check in and at breakfast - they had cups of yogurt w fresh berries - we were there early and hear the ladies chopping and working at prior. Otherwise the usual. Overheard the front desk adjust someone’s reservation who had accidently booked the wrong week. They really were looking to help fix the situation (possible if booked direct w the hotel or if booked via third party as refundable) Front desk is not staffed overnight. 5 parking spaces plus a large area to pull in and unload in front of the hotel, and lots of neighborhood street parking. No AC or elevator – think seaside and historic. Big fan in the closet for window if needed. Easy walk to shore and several great eateries.

Everything was ok except the linen looked dirty. I think that it was old and gray. The bedding could have been nicer. The towels were gray also. At breakfast several people were talking about how the sheets and towels were gray and looked dirty. Don't think that they were dirty just old and needed replacing.

The pictures on the website are misleading. Our room had purple walls with blue paint dripping down one side. Every thing felt worn out and very dated. Tiny bathroom and stained towels. Seriously disappointing but grateful we only had to stay there for one night. The breakfast is minimal but fine. Good location is the only positive. Total let down. I'm surprised by all of the good reviews but maybe none of those folks stayed in the room we had. :(
