Beautiful Property, Clean Rooms, Hotel Staff in some areas was rude, restaurants, poolside etc. Food was Mid at best. taxi at the end for 2 people to the airport was $125, which was insane considering Uber was $45. But no Ubers allowed in this property.

Property was nice, there was not much to do as the hotel is secluded, I found it relaxing, but you need to me mindful of this when booking. Not a swimmable beach, just keep that in mind. The staff was very nice. The Casino is off sight (not a big deal for me bc I don’t gamble, but others cared). The room I was in had a damp feel to it. On my last night I had to call the front desk regarding guests who were arguing at 2a, they said security would come and address it, but they never came, I was VERY surprised by that! I had to open my door at 2a and ask the other guests to take it elsewhere, fortunately they were polite to me, but that could have ended wrongly. The resort credits can only be used on certain things (spa, bowling). and require you to pay a 35% out of pocket service fee, not much of a credit if you ask me. Also transportation is $100 r/t pp if you don’t book with them directly, resort cr can not be used toward that and they don’t allow uber insight. Due to the distance from the airport the fee isn’t horrible it’s just you don’t have many options, groups win as the fee is $340 for up to 10 pp. Overall I had a nice stay, might not stay there again just bc of the location but it wasn’t bad.

Good beautiful property! Drinks and food were great! But some down falls on our room …supposed to have partial ocean view with no view of the ocean. Tablet in the room didn’t work the whole time. Mold in the shower area and while out on the balcony we could smell sewer gas!

Family’s first vacation to Mexico May 7-12. Wanted all-inclusive for convenience. The bad: kids could not use the Hot tub even with adult present, windy and cold in the late afternoon. Nothing outside of property. Constant upgrade pitches. Bit far from airport but the expressway was there was pretty fast. For some reason, on the way back, our driver took us through the coast, which was pretty nice, got to the airport with plenty of time. Used the Grey Line transport offered from Expedia. The junior suite needed another 12 inches of clearance for the pullout bed so you didn’t have to walk over it. The good: food and drinks were good (Toro, Cafe, & Market). You did not need to get off the property. Property is a bit windy, heated pool was adequate. Staff was all good with a warm (not fake) smile. Good for kids. Also there is a kid drop off service that our 6 yo son liked (Roxity). Room service food was excellent and fast. No issues with service from phone. One time the shower took 20 min to heat up, that was it. They also have a Fender Strat for loan with amp and headphone. Didn’t feel the need to go to downtown Cabo. We tipped about $300 during the trip. Still was a bargain. We will be back.

I wish I could give zero stars. This resort was an absolute disaster from the moment we arrived. Staff was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times confrontational. Basic questions were met with eye rolls or silence. Hospitality? Nonexistent. The room had a rat. Not a metaphor. An actual rat. It ran under the mini fridge. We called the front desk—they said they’d “send someone.” No one ever came. Buffet was a health hazard. Cockroaches crawling near uncovered food trays. Cold entrees, sour dairy, and reused utensils. Frankly, it’s a miracle we didn’t end up in the hospital. Housekeeping came and went with no rhyme or reason. Items went missing from our bags and there was no accountability. When we raised it with management? Shrugs and excuses. Security seemed more like bouncers at a shady club than protectors of a “luxury resort.” We saw people wandering around who clearly weren’t guests and the whole vibe was unsettling—especially for families with kids. This is not a safe or comfortable place to vacation. Hard Rock Cabo should be investigated, not recommended. If you value your health, safety, or peace of mind, avoid this place like it’s radioactive.

I was very impressed by the hard rock. The staff and amenities were wonderful. It was very family friendly with an arcade, kids club, multiple pools, a heated pool, and another game room with multiple pool tables. There was also a bowling alley available for addition purchase. The food and drinks were amazing! Some of the best I’ve had in Mexico. Espresso martini’s at the sunset bar and the julip bramble at Toro were a couple of my favourites. The property felt very safe and secure. It is about an hour from the airport that was the only real pit along with some check in bumps. Other then that I Will definitely be going back.
